Comfortable clean room. Staff were very pleasant during check in and check out. WiFi signal is weak making it difficult to get work done. There is no signage in the pay and display car park stating that it is free to hotel guests. I only found out upon checking in after I had paid to park

This hotel have the most onderful staff, it has a great location situated within close proximity of a park to relax when the weather permits. It is within walking distance to many great restaurant's. As well as serving delicious food in the Saracens head which is adjoined. It has excellent transport links. So all in all everything you could possible require for a fab weekend.

Great position and price for the centre of Shirley, but the real bonus is the very friendly lady on reception who always makes it a pleasure to check in. Typical chain offering, consistent, good size room's, only small fault is no plug socket by the bed.

Basic room but very clean, well worth the money. Hotel is in a good location near to shops and right by an adsa with a cafe. Theres a door that leads to the bar in the hotels reception and that was a little noisy on Saturday night but it didnt bother us. The staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful.

I met 2 amazing staff members today under odd circumstances, Muhammad Ali and a female who's name I can't remember. I got kicked out of my house today and had nowhere to go, was dropped off and left to fend for myself with very little money and they allowed me to stay in reception until my friends came to pick me up, was offered water and a sympathetic ear. You rarely get people like this that go well beyond their regular job. They reassured me and made me feel comfortable, thank you both, I'll never forget :-)

A regular stop when in the area,if the price is right. Got a bargain at £40 a night, good size room with full facilities in a good location. The receptionist was very helpful, and worked me through the new restrictions, with professionalism,a smile,a a sense of humour.
