Coming to the end of a 3 day stay here as many previous reviews have commented Jessop house run by Steve and Chris really has it all We are most impressed with our room ( 3 ) absolutely lovely attention to detail and a very inviting room, in all respects.. We have enjoyed meeting the hosts who have made our...

As far removed from a chain hotel as one can get, Jessop House is a near perfect example of a British B&B. The owners are charming, helpful and chatty. The rooms are, well, individual, but have everything you need (including enough cushions to open a small shop). Breakfast is varied, parking is limited. A wonderful antidote to corporate hotels!

We have stayed at Jessop House for a number of years now and are working our way round all the rooms Each one just keeps getting better. Breakfast is in a nice relaxed setting with Steve serving and Chris cooking nothing is to much trouble. Looking forward to staying with them again soon

Stayed at Jessop House for two nights while going to the Cheltenham races, what a fantastic welcome from Chris and Steve, the place is spotless and a credit to the owners who work there socks off. Freshly cooked breakfast was superb, very easy check in then shown to our room which was faultless including tea, coffee and biscuits, toiletries provided in...

This is a fabulous place to stay; the welcome we received from Steve and Chris helped us settle in straight away and the location (directly opposite the Abbey) was brilliant. Tewkesbury is a great location for exploring the surrounding areas. I have absolutely nothing negative to say (for once) and would have loved to have stayed longer. Thank you Steve...

We spent one night at Jessop House in March. The building is absolutely gorgeous and the welcome very warm and the breakfast very good indeed. The decor is a little dated and our room even though quite spacious had a minuscule shower room but the bed was very comfortable and we had a nice time.

Thank you for you for your kind remarks regarding the quality of our accommodation, with regard to the decor we tend not to follow trends we like to decorate with an eclectic mix of modern and antique items to retain an individual style. Jessop House is a property of historical importance to Tewkesbury which limits us to the changes we...

I've stayed here a couple of times now on business and the owners are absolutely great. A great care and attention has gone into each of the rooms and there is a definite personal style which shines through. The breakfasts are brilliant too. And its close to restaurants for an evening meal - overall I can't fault!

Great place, very cosy and friendly staff. Has a family feel to it! The couple who own it made us feel at home and helped us get around the town. Very clean and well kept. I would highly recommend it!

Whilst racing at Cheltenham stayed here for one night and very impressed. The whole building and my room were decorated to a very high standard. The room was immaculately clean and well appointed. Slept very well apart from another resident who woke me up by ringing the front door bell. However the following morning the owner offered to reduce the...
