We stayed for a function on the Saturday night. We enjoyed a great weekend with good food and exemplary service throughout. Our function room was well prepared and laid out. Service of the dinner courses was quick and efficient with all pre-requested menu selections accurately served.

'I stayed at the Grange Moor Hotel for two nights whilst visiting friends and family in the area. I had a great stay, all the staff were polite, friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was good for the price. My only gripe would be the very hard pillows.'

We stayed here for a Saturday night having travelled down from the East Midlands for a family celebration. Although we had stayed there previously and found it quite acceptable, on this occasion we were disappointed. The room was shabby and, amongst other things, the shower cubicle doors wouldn't shut properly. The biggest problem, however, was a very loud disco which...

Another comfortable break at the Grange Moor Hotel. Room was spacious and extremely clean. Dinner was reasonably priced and delicious and a problem with a starter was soon rectified and dealt with efficiently and professionally. Breakfast was also good. Staff as always were friendly and attentive.

Very dated, reminded me of a 70's style Blackpool B&B. Only modern feature was each room had an ensuite. Paper thin walls and ceilings, could hear the person upstairs making a cup of tea! Bit of a maze to get to room from reception. Breakfast at £5 was great value though

The Grange moor is quite an old building and parts are not suitable for people with mobility issues, the rooms were comfortable but the bathroom is tiny and you had to squeeze past the sink to get on the toilet. The breakfast was good and the staff were helpful and friendly.

This is the 4th year my husband and I have stayed for our association annual dinner. It represents excellent value for money and has had a partial refurbished recently. Could not fault the food and staff most helpful.
