This review should be read in conjunction with the inn keepers hotel located at the White Rabbit in Maidstone, which is where I was originally staying. I booked the White Rabbit for 5 nights having eaten in their restaurant which is a typical smart modern restaurant ...... not so the rooms - they were grim. So I moved to the...

This homey, classical hotel is within walking distance of the Maidstone West train station, making access to London or Folkestone quite easy. The food from the dinner menu selections were great as well. The wine list and bar supplies were quite adequate too.

Having visited this hotel a few times in the last few years, the care and attention the staff and proprietor have for guests both young and old impresses me. A visit last month revealed a refurbishment of the bar area, with fresh, modern colours. Staff were very attentive, but without any pressure. A delightful visit of a family run hotel.

Secondly when they arrived in reception they were told to...

Happy little hotel with good food, staff and location. I have visited this place before and the room has been renovated since. Much better now. I only stayed 2 nights but the dinner and drinks selection was nice. Ample parking and easy access to Maidstone town centre. All in all good experience.

When our family was staying in Maidstone, we booked them a room in the main hotel for a few nights. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, and the receptionist was very welcoming, Julie ;) The food was excellent, affordable and they had working wifi. They said that they would definitely stay again if they were...
