Huge bed, really comfortable. Large shower with 2 heads, plenty of space in the bedroom part. Good selection of beers and food. Loads of free parking. Breakfast very good and wide choice. In the heart of the High Street, plenty of options to eat and drink. Bargain price at £70 inc parking and a good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful...

Stayed here for the two night Christmas break offer. Not good. Much of the hotel is in need of refurbishment. The room (supposedly the bridal suite) was quite tatty. My partner complained of a musty smell from the bathroom. To be fair, the bathroom was clean - just had a bit of an odd odour about it. Christmas eve dinner...

Stayed here two nights on business, due to proximity, the hotel is ok, it is 15th century so obviously hasn't many modern facilities, but the bathroom could have 'deep clean' the shower head and toilet for instance needed attention which I would think are basic areas to be kept spotless. Cobwebs left in high corners! The breakfast service was appalling...

I regularly went for a few drinks with friends or for food over the weekend a couple of years ago, this was the first time I had been here for a long while. I'd heard mixed reviews about it since the revamp and wanted to try it out for myself. The lady serving at the bar, although polite didn't quite...

The hotel itself is fine and reasonably priced. The check in staff very helpful. The bathroom wasn't in great shape. Bed was okay. Heating seemed to be off. Breakfast was a let down. Waited ages and very average. Some of it was cold. Needed a jump start in the morning and again staff were really helpful.

I am local and had a meal for 2 on Tuesday. Drink prices were very good compared to other locations e.g the Navigation! and the food was OK for a bar meal. Good value for money, friendly staff (although never did get the water we asked for) and would visit again but not for a special occasion.

Awful place, room had a damp smell with paint crumbling off the ceiling. The bed had a make do fix as the bed must've been broken previously. For £70 it was a rip off, they didn't even provide a glass for water. It felt dirty and was in need of a deep clean. The hotel had forgotten to tell us...

Jules and i booked the Cock in Stony Stratford for its location. The evening was planned to share an early Christmas with my kids, go for a Thai meal and just enjoy a relaxing weekend. We booked easily through old english inns, although its a Green King owned pub. Check in was available at 2pm but due to visiting a...

Arranged a very last minute Christmas party with friends. The Cock Hotel were able to accommodate us. It was the perfect evening. Food and service was excellent and the disco was exactly our kind of entertainment and didnt break the bank.
