A group of 50 adults and 8 children booked and paid in full in advance for an end of season Christmas meal on the 4th October 2014. What did we get? The meal was booked for 5.30 for 6pm. They started serving the starter which was a choice of soup or pate (which was passable) at 6.40 finishing serving at...

After a canal trip on the Grand Union a crowd of us returned to the Cosgrove Lodge Hotel where a couple of friends were staying. The staff were really friendly and put the disco on for the kids. Much appreciated. Thanks for putting a great end to an already lovely day.

Enjoyed our one night stay, friendly helpful lady looked after us. Hotel and surroundings well kept, tucked away in a pretty village. The room was a good size and very clean. We had a lovely sleep as the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. We had a full English, perfectly cooked with good quality sausages. We didn't have to...

Beautiful building in attractive surroundings. The interior of the hotel is a bit dated but still charming. The staff were friendly but the food at breakfast was a real let down. It was swimming in grease and the food tasted as though it was past it's best before date! The surroundings are beautiful and the village is very cute too....

We held a Post-Wedding party at The Cosgrove Lodge on 21st June and I must say that everything we were promised at the meeting beforehand was delivered plus some. The décor, food, staff and overall service provided by Liz made the party memorable. Guests were still talking about what a great time they had days after the event. Liz and...

Food orders wrong and had to wait over 2 hours not all food served. When complained heard kitchen staff slagging off our party then aggressive owner came and tried to intimidate shoving one...

You could not wish for a more attentive host, food is first class and the rooms very comfortable and clean, from the moment you arrive until the time you depart nothing is to much trouble and the whole hotel atmosphere is calm and welcoming, I would highly recommend this hotel.
