I have just spent 4-days at this hotel on a training course and it was horrific. - Insufficient heating in the rooms so we had to wear coats - The hotel smells of dirty cooking oil which comes from kitchen. This takes your breath away as you walk into reception. I have had to have my coat dry cleaned to...

Dear Tracey, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I would like to address a few of your points. Quite a few courses are run at The Regency via various training companies throughout the year, without complaint. These companies are well aware of our facilities and that our restaurant is only open in the evenings. LUNCH: Unless...

I stayed for 5 nights here and it's OK as a bed for the night if you re doing something locally and out all of the time. It's a bit off the beaten track down an unlit road The whole place is just a bit sad and tired, needs a fresh coat of paint and an injection of life. Breakfast...

Booked one night here as it was near Gatwick airport where I was picking a friend up from. A beautiful view of the hotel as you turn into the drive. The room was a little tired but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and freshly cooked to order. Would definately stay again.

The first sight of this hotel is awesome. Tucked away from the madding crowd it is a serene oasis of calm, its black and white façade lovely to behold. Quiet but within easy reach of the airport or in our case the crematorium. which was the sad reason for our being in the area. We were well looked after. The...

I have stayed at the Regency for a number of nights over the past few months. I really like it. Harry is a character and very helpful. The rooms are a little dated but so what. They are functional and warm. The restaurant food is good value and tasty. Breakfasts are great too. My only bugbear, and its a big...

I can't say enough positive things about the Regency Hotel. We had the great pleasure of them hosting our Wedding reception, which was absolutely perfect. From the very earliest planning stages to the moment we left the hotel, the team were more than happy to to do everything possible the accomodate out every need. We were offered all of the...

I spent one night here and on arrival asked if my room could be changed to one on the ground floor which was done at once. When I had dinner I was also an awkward customer! I fancied pasta but didn't feel like eating the meat dish on offer. The waitress immediately said they would make me spaghetti with a...

Arrived early evening, google maps made it easy to find. Easy, quick check in. Large family room for 2 of us overlooking pool from one side and front of hotel from the other. Lovely evening meal with good service. Quiet location and following a good sleep we had a fantastic breakfast to set us up for a day of travel....

This is an adequate place to stay one night. The bed was comfy and I slept well. The walls are thin and carry your neighbours conversations, but I still fell asleep easily. The hotel itself is in a surprisingly quiet location within easy reach of the airport. I woke up early, and breakfast was not included. I had a bowl...

We stayed there last year for a lay over from Gatwick. Our flight arrived late at night and we did not get to the Hotel until after midnight. A bit of confusion on our part made us wake the owners looking to enter. They were very nice about it. The next morning breakfast was good and the tea great. Again...
