Visited to have a pre arranged afternoon tea with friends. Food was delicious and fresh. The quantity was just right. One of the party is a vegetarian which was well catered for. Ambience was nice and staff were helpful and friendly. Good value for money. We would definitely return to the hotel for another afternoon tea.

We had a room on the first floor above reception. It had character. It was quite roomy, with a large bathroom, plenty of wardrobe space, large bed and two-seater sofa. We had come on a deal which included a two course dinner as well as the overnight stay. It was apparently half price, for which it certainly was value for...

Our staff Christmas party was really good. It was a Gary Barlow tribute night the entertainment, food and service were all excellent. The event was a little more expensive than other hotels but well worth it!

Visited the hotel for my birthday, as soon as we walked we were greeted by Abigail, the receptionist, very friendly and got us checked in very swiftly. Got to the room, top floor at the front of the building, very easy to find, lovely and quiet throughout the hotel just what we wanted! The room was spacious and was very...

Attended a Xmas party here and stopped for the night with a group of friends. The meal and Disco afterwards was very enjoyable, the quality of food and service was of a high standard. Room was a decent size with modern furnishings, flat screen, hot drinks and walk in shower but no fridge or safe which was a slight disappointment....

Dear covenlad Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review and we're delighted that you enjoyed your Christmas party / overnight stay. Unfortunately, we do have some issues with certain sat navs - as our Georgian hotel was here a long time before many of the newer roads, it can sometimes create sat-nav confusion! We have tried to...

Another excellent stay here. Room spotless, no trouble when we wanted to eat our dinner in our room. Absolutely love staying here for our date night / away from kids night. Eventhough there was a Xmas party on,it wasn't too disruptive. Breakfast was yummy and our dinner was delicious, a perfect night, Thank-you.

Some information we should of been told on arrival. Had to change 1st room. Hotel has only softened water to drink but no supply of bottled water as an alternative. I was charged over £4. We were waiting for over half an hour to go in the restaurant with no apology. Food was good

We went for afternoon tea. Lovely building. Very Christmassy. Sandwiches and sausage roll. Nicely presented. Three nice pudding's each. Plenty of tea and coffee and a glass of sparking wine. Not a great deal of food but it was enough. Would visit again

Two decent starters and one nice main. The other was pretty dreadful. A battered hake fillet that had spent far too long in a too hot oven. However, the service was good, the welcome warm. A pleasant restaurant experience. Shame about my main course. House white is easily drinkable.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We may be located on the edge of Telford, but from the moment you turn into our driveway, you’ll notice that Hadley Park House Hotel & Restaurant has a distinct rural feel. The main manor house dates back to the 18th century and is still full of character. It provides a perfect location for weddings and celebrations; it’s a conducive environment for business stays and conferences and is ideal for anyone looking for a relaxing leisure break. When you’re away it’s important to get a good night’s sleep. So, we’ve invested in our 22 bedrooms to make them as relaxing and homely as possible. There are even a few small touches to add that little bit of luxury to your stay. As you’d expect, all of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms and there’s the obligatory TV and tea and coffee making facilities! WIFI is also available in the rooms in case you need to link to the ‘world wide web’ whilst away. After a good nights rest, we’ll make sure that you’re set up for the next day thanks to a hearty, freshly cooked Shropshire breakfast. Dorrells Restaurant is our award winning conservatory restaurant which consistently achieves an AA Rosette for food quality. Our kitchen brigade produces exceptional quality food predominantly using locally sourced produce. Pork is sourced from Wenlock Edge Farm, our beef is reared in Staffordshire, we have Staffordshire cheese on the cheeseboard … and the list goes on. ... more   less
