Easy to access location not far from the town centre. Helpful hospitable owner, offering large bathroom good sized bedroom but thin walls between next door bathroom. Shame about this but naturally disturbed a nights sleep. Then breakfast was average.

There are 4 rooms at The Coach House, 2 doubles and 2 singles. The singles have been made from one big room on the front of the house. The dividing wall between the rooms is paper thin. EVERY sound can be heard, every snore, every movement and every 11pm phone call. It sounded like he was sitting on the end...

Thank you for your review Simon, i'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay with us which is dissapointing to read. I am aware of the sound problems between the rooms on some occasions, maybe something can be done in the future to rectify this as it is something we inherited. I'm pleased to here you enjoyed your breakfast...

Highly recommended. Stayed one night Jan 2107. 20 minute straightforward walk into city centre. Room clean, warm and comfortable. Seperate bathroom (washbasin only in this room) clean and well maintained. Beautiful sitting room and breakfast room. Excellent value. Didn't immediately spot the place as I drove down the road it's on. Look out for a large pub on a mini...

I enjoyed my stay at the Coach House. The ladies I met on arrival and during breakfast were cheerful and friendly, the rooms were spotless with some lovely touches such as really pretty door hangers asking not to be disturbed, and there was parking, though it was a bit tight. There was exotic fresh fruit at breakfast, plus bananas and...

booked the coach house for a wedding at darley mill, good location for this venue. Not very welcoming, rooms tidy but very dated. Had the "full english" breakfast! I think i could have fitted it on a sandwich. (more of a childs meal). Glad we only needed one night. Wouldn't want to put anyone off because it is adequate, but...

Three of us in the family room (including a toddler) and we were really very comfortable. Room was spotless and included a lovely, generous en-suite. Beautiful sitting room available to guests too. The breakfast was delicious (my fussy toddler tucked right in!) - we really couldn't have asked for more. They took great care of us, and the house and...

My room was spotless, wonderful bed - slept like a log and the breakfast was excellent - all freshly prepared, with a god selection of fruit and jams etc. Zoe and Carol are very pleasant - good hosts. Would definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

Stayed here for 1 night while attending a wedding just outside Derby. We arrived around midday and the room was ready for us, it was on the first floor, large, airy, it had everything we needed and also the bathroom was huge. I couldn't fault anything at all, the owners have obviously spent very long on choosing what to put...

We have been staying here for nearly ten years and Carol and Zoe do an excellent job of looking after us. Nothing is too much trouble. The room and spacious bathroom are spotlessly clean and there is an added advantage of a beautiful lounge to use downstairs. The room was lovely and warm when we arrived on a cold and...
