Travellers' Choice
Home to rural scenery, an exciting history, and plenty of fun activities, Gloucester is an ideal city for a short break. Discover the area's history at Gloucester Docks, where you can tour the museum, hire a narrow boat, and even give paddleboarding a go. Gloucester Cathedral is a must for sightseers and history-lovers, as well as fans of the Harry Potter series, who'll recognise the cathedral's cloisters as the corridors of Hogwarts. Thanks to all the shops, bars and restaurants on offer, Gloucester Quays is a perfect spot for bargain-hunters. Plus, with the picturesque Cotswolds only a train ride away, why not escape to the country for an afternoon? Whichever way you spend your day, you can look forward to tasty meals back at our in-house Beefeater restaurant.

Everything in this hotel smells new and clean. Great location too. I stayed here for business and would definitely stay here again. Bed was very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. My only gripe with Premier Inn hotels is that their showers are all fixed shower heads so not adjustable and without a hose attachment. Having said that, Premier Inns are my go to when travelling for business because I know what to expect in a good way.

The room is so hot it’s very uncomfortable.. the twin room is a double Bed and a cot .. shower over bath very slippery and shower height non adjustable. And the noise from the room above is like elephants walking about .. so sadly not a good stay.

Stayed 3 nights as a family in 3 rooms. Rooms are large in this purpose built building (rather than converted office block). Well configured lights for reading. USB sockets. Large TV. Free WiFi. Free parking and seems plenty of spaces but shared with Beefeater so get there early. 5/10 minute walk into town so perfect. Quay area has plenty of pubs/restaurants. Very small problem with Beefeater, which is part of the company and used for breakfast. They are, like many, short staffed. Noticed Monday only 2 people with manager cooking and running around everywhere. Tuesday morning Beefeater closed which meant no breakfast. There were many who had booked and paid for breakfast. But this was a minor issue as Wetherspoons 4 minutes away and cheaper! Would highly recommend this hotel. Also, as a guide, did all the 'must see' villages in the Cotswolds in one day.

Easy to find and get to, in a great location, everything is within walking distance.Plenty of on site parking.Reception staff are really friendly and helpful. Room was large ,clean and well equipped. Nice to see covid measures are still in place. The only slight let down was the cooked breakfast,it wasn't up to scratch.

A perfect location not only for shopping but also for day trips out to beautiful places such as Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Cirencester. Our room at the Premier Inn was spotlessly clean and the reception team were friendly and went above and beyond to help and give us advice throughout our stay with them. The meal deal for breakfast and evening meal was a nice bonus and the staff there were very friendly too and food great.
