All four of us had three courses and to be honest nobody had a bad meal. It was nice but I don't think it was worth the money. I have paid a lot less for better steaks but also I have had a lot worse. The staff were very good and the place was very clean.

Myself and my friend came to stay for a short break Wednesday through to Friday. Really didn't want to come home. this was our first visit but will definitely not be our last. Already planning our next trip back. Beautiful hotel and grounds. Spotlessly clean. Food was perfect and took us ages to order as we wanted taste of everything...

We entered 'The Pine Marten' with our friends for a 2 night stay and were pleasantly surprised as the surroundings were beautiful, so we were looking forward to seeing the luxury of the rooms. Our first room was number 9, it was very small and in the eaves on the top floor, with my husband being tall he was ducking...

We came for a weekend and took quite a lot of their rooms. All the rooms are lovely and quite roomy. Pub and restaurant on site amazing with a great outside area. Breakfast nice. Staff are wonderful. So helpful and so friendly. Would recommend to anyone visiting Harrogate. Great value for money.

The quality of hotels in Horrogate is, in my experience, "variable". Opted for Inkkeepers because it is within walking distance of Harlow Carr Gardens where we were meeting friends. We were pleasantly surprised by the ample parking, the warmth of reception, the standard of the room, and the delightful evening meal. It is too far to walk into Harrogate but...

On arrival, although earlier than planned, we were warmly greeted, booked in and shown to our room. Everywhere seemed clean and tidy, the room itself was well appointed and overlooked a courtyard garden. We had a very good evening meal in the spacious dining room that offered a wide range of dishes. The quality of the food and service was...

The family room we stayed in was lovely and very much like a 'typical' hotel. The breakfast offering, in our opinion, could be improved. It's self-serve except for the tea and coffee, which was not plentiful, and the choices were not as good as other continental breakfasts we have had. Having said that you could pay extra for a cooked...

We stayed at the hotel on Saturday 12th en route to Durham. The room was very well appointed with good furnishings. The staff were efficient and friendly. We had a meal in the restaurant in the hotel which was very good (definitely go for the Black Puddings starter) .

The process of making the reservation for a short break was straightforward. We did find the hotel difficult to find at first, as the postcode was not recognised by our satnav. When we did arrive, the staff welcomed us with a friendly and helpful manner. Although there were one or two things that could have been better (bedroom heating control,...

Enjoyed a one night stay at the innkeepers lodge which is attached to the pinemarten restaurant. A delightful old building which has been sympathetically decorated to create a genuinely relaxing environment. Rooms to a good standard with everything you need. Ladies - you need to take a lighted mirror to put on your makeup as the lighting in the rooms...
