This was the second year that my husbands work's 'do' was at the Crown. Last year we made the fatal mistake of staying over, it had been a terrible stay never to be repeated. On Saturday the 25 March 2007, we attended the corporate ball at the crown again. The drinks reception began at 6pm with luke warm fizz but...

My wife and I took my mother for afternoon tea on Mother's Day. The service, presentation and value were all outstanding. Old fashioned charm including traditional white tablecloths. We enjoyed it greatly, my mother in particular, who remembers going there before the war!

We was all excited to stay in this hotel, from the reviews and the website it seemed as if this would be a faultless visit from a very well run hotel. So did not expect any issues at all. I called ahead to stay in the restaurant twice as changed the time, so they had ample time to notify me...

I stayed here at the beginning of the month for a family weekend in Harrogate and had the worst night ever. I never expected a 5 star stay in this run down shabby hotel but thought it would be ok for a night but I was wrong. I had my two young children with me, the youngest being only 5...

Attended the Harrogate Beer Festival (which is in the hotel) and stayed overnight, very convenient. I expected some disruption but there was no discernible noise in my room. It's a pleasant place to stay, no problem with any of the facilities.

This Hotel is a perflect reflection of Harrogate itself. Attractive to look at, modern and old in harmony, friendly and welcoming, and very "genteel".... We arrived for a midweek break at 11am and parked on the front. We were advised to come back about 2pm when our room should be ready by a charming lady on reception, who gave us...

We decided on a few days away and decided the Crown in Harrogate fitted the bill once again. We originally requested the same room we had previously stayed in before as had a great view and was a big room. We booked directly with the hotel and got a very good rate. We arrived to a very empty car park....

Room was OK, Breakfast food was good. Breakfast staff were miserable as sin. Reception staff obviously need more training as they gave us a parking disc to park along a side street and were told by the reception staff we could park there with the disc until 11am the next day. We arrived back at the car just after 10am...
