My daughter and I booked a Spa pamper package. From booking in at reception to the whole experience was deeply disappointing. The Spa changing rooms are grim. They obviously have a problem with a leaking roof and even the robes provided after asking for them with tired and worn. Our room again must have had a leak as the curtains...

My husband booked a night at The Majestic through Groupon. Although the deluxe room differed somewhat from the pictures on Groupon and wasn't quite as modern we were still impressed. Absolutely spotless. Coffee facilities, bottled water, glasses, complimentary wine, tv and a huge comfortable bed. A beautiful building that could do with a bit of TLC. 3 course dinner was...

My family and I stayed here through a deal on Secret Escapes. First of all the hotel is a very grand and imposing building but still in need of redevelopment. The rooms we stayed in were huge but very dusty in places. My parents received their bottle of wine almost straightaway, we had to ask 3 times for ours, which...

We booked a two night stay including dinner and afternoon tea at the Majestic via Secret Escapes and I have to say I was very concerned when reading the reviews after we had booked (stupid I know!) However I have to say we were pleasantly surprised! The staff were extremely friendly nothing was too much trouble, our room was huge...

Returned here after visiting a couple of years ago. This is well place to walk into Harrogate and has lovely grounds and a spacious carpark. The rooms have improved since our last visit. Our room was very nice with modern furniture, plenty of room and a lovely bathroom. We also had a nice view of the garden and Harrogate. Fab...

We have just been on a Groupon 2 night package that included dinner on the first night, and afternoon tea on second day. The hotel is majestic in appearance but not in quality and value. It stands in its own grounds but you are still charged £8 a night to park even if you are resident. The evening meal was shambolic...

Worse than bad, complete garbage being sold as steak. Website does not reflect the reality, rooms were awful, bathrooms possibly worse. It's like they stole my late Grandmothers furniture and placed it in my room - that is no good thing. Ceiling were cracked and flaking, the toilet was also fit only for a hobbit or small child. I'm reliving...
