It is such a scam that this place charges €100 per night. This is a very basic b'n'b, almost like a hostel. Only a basic continental breakfast is available (for €100??!!!). There were not enough towels so we had to wait until the next day to get some. The outside looks abandoned, the entrance is so easy to miss with only a tiny hand written sign.

The good thing about this place is that it is not far from the town of Wicklow. It has a pleasant view from the window over farmland and the albeit overgrown gardens. It would make visitors feel more welcome if there was some sort of signage by the entrance so they could see where to go upon their arrival. The lighting in the bathroom was very poor, making it almost impossible to see anything in the mirror, but at least we had hot water for a shower and the toilet flushed! The door handle needs fixing as it is only holding on by a couple of screws and wobbles around when you wish to open the door. I thought the continental breakfast was adequate, but certainly not impressive - especially when compared to other places that also offer complimentary breakfast.

Worst place I've ever stayed in! From the moment I arrived to this place, problems started to arise. I was accused of lying by the girl who took care of this Lodge that my Reservation was never made, yet I pre-paid for the stay week prior to arrival.. After 10 minutes I was finally given keys to my room. The cleanliness of the room was very poor, the decor also... & the overall stay was awful. If you want a stress-free stay, avoid this place at all cost.

We thought this place was abandoned when we first drove up, and boy do I wish we had turned around! The whole place is shabby, rooms are filthy with stained bed base, stains on bed linen, worn old towel with a hole in it, dirty and marked walls, mould on the bathroom fan. You had to duck your head going up or down the stairs. The room had a low velux window that opened dangerously wide- Do not bring children! (There was also no sea view as promised) The toilet did not flush and we had to hunt down the receptionist to find something to fix it with. There was no hot water when we checked in after a day spent hiking. We were promised there would be hot water in the morning....there was not. The "free breakfast" was continental only and a very poor selection at that. Even the
