I've stayed here before - quite a few times. Pre-covid ... they had a great continental breakfast. Yes, the rooms are basic, and I guess if you had lots of €€€, ideally a renovation would be great, but hey ..... It's cheap (my room has always been) clean. Cheerful staff brought a table & chair into my room so I could work. Ben was comfy and I was warm. Shower in the morning was a bit lukewarm, but I had a super shower in the afternoon ! If you are fussy - book a fancy hotel at triple the price. This is in a great location - try the cliff walk, and is cheap and cheerful !

DANGER DANGER! Outstandingly bad!Place stinks of sewage and URINE. Just reported this hellhole to the Irish Tourism board. I’m Irish so I have to apologise for any tourists visiting Ireland making the mistake of booking and staying in horrible unkempt hostel’ish dump. The owners are completely unfit to serve and accommodate the public including any unsuspecting tourists that come here - the entire property is covered in bandaids - everything is either broken, stained or just an outright hazard. Nothing good to say about it at all. I’d rather stay in caravan!

Lovely location, lovely garden... Bedrooms are absolute disgrace. Not cleaned properly, very noisy. No toilettrees in the bathroom which I found to be really weird for the place providing accommodation. Stains on the mattress, stains on the carpets, walls, very dirty... If I got covid on my trip to Ireland, I'd definitely be blaming this place. I was shocked to see this. I am sure the inspection would close it if they only had a look at it for 2 minutes. Wouldn't recommend to anyone literally, not even teenagers on school trip. Also, my boyfriend asked for a fresh set of linen and was told by the housekeeper there is no service... But we presumed she didn't understand him as she was just smiling with the other guests and nodding her head.

Could be the most stunning little place, great location, lovely house, and free parking. But oh my...... See pictures below to give an overview of the experience. Was told to ring the front doorbell for any assistance so tried and got no response. Tried again and still nothing. Gave up. Went back to the room to find that the cleaning fairies hadn't visited. Please do yourselves a favour and avoid this place! The best one was the cardboard that was used in the light fitting in the bathroom to keep the bulb tight because it was the wrong bulb for a fitting that wasn't for a bathroom! Even the resident advice sheet was mouldy! So much for "extra" cleaning measures, get the basics right first!
