Today we went in for something to eat in the afternoon ...we should have known not to expect much when there was only three other people eating. The menu was quite limited which we could overlook but the food was poor standard. I got fish of the day, which was bland looked lovely but uninteresting. My husband got the roast...

There's nothing really wrong with this place, just that the pictures are misleading, the breakfast poor and therefore the price is not as good as it seemed when I booked it. This place obviously has seen better times, but nowadays it doesn't live to its reputation.

I recently visited the restaurant at the meetings with my family ,on arrival we were seated and the lady who dealt with us was very friendly and took our order, food came reasonably quick and was great quality and a good enough price the only complaint I had was one of the waitresses then proceeded to clear our table when...

Staff were nice. Very helpful. Room was very pleasant and breakfast was fine. But generally-speaking, this place seems to have seen better days. We were there on a Sunday. No dinner available - had to drive into another town where we did in fact have a nice meal.

Wow, probably because we are not used to settings like this where 2 rivers meet we were blown away by the actual setting. The breakfasts were awesome, wholesome and extremely filling. The only negative about the venue is that the room disappointed and was not exactly what was advertised. We traveled as a family of my wife my 11 year...

Absolutely loved our stay here, and can't stop talking about it. Myself and 2 others stayed for one night in a family room, we were delighted to have stumbled upon such a delightful place. We loved the communal deck, dvd's and coffee area. Staying here felt like a home from home and was made even better by the friendly staff....

We were there in early October and the decks were no longer in use. But, I could tell it would be a wonderful location to eat or just have a drink and watch the melding of two rivers. The reception was warm and welcoming. The cordial gal who greeted us did a great job of filling us in on the...

It's a friendly pub with great food and music, plus it sits by a kind of magical place, where two rivers meet. It's also close to Avoca, where Ballykissangel was filmed. Avoca Hand Weavers is a must stop. Didn't stay in the hotel.

We didn't stay in the hotel actually we were staying at a local B and B just outside of the hotel and we got there quite late so shortly after arriving we were looking for some dinner or something to eat so we went here, was quite busy and hard to find a seat but we did and it took...

This was the first time I stayed since management changed hands. The second floor rear deck is a nice addition and gives an even better view of the rivers. I missed the kitschy gift shop from before, but it's lovely to see local artists work offered as souvenirs instead. The room was comfortable - wish there were more towels. Be...
