We stayed in the lodges, which were very close to the hotel. The rooms were spacious enough and the beds comfortable. We quite enjoyed getting breakfast served to us as opposed to the self service you get in most hotels these days. The staff were very pleasant, which is always important. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

We stayed overnight in the lodge. Room was as expected however I wish they would supply more than one pillow per person. On checking the wardrobe there were no extra ones that we could use. We ate dinner in the bar area. The food was fine and the staff were friendly and efficient. Next morning breakfast was made to order...

The hotel doesn't pretend to be 5 star but the staff are friendly, the food is good and the setting is pretty. We stayed in the lodge across the road, good sized room and facilities. We played golf at Woodenbridge Golf Club, again just across the road. Set in a lush valley, the area and surroundings are beautiful.

I stayed at the Woodenbridge Lodge attached to the Woodenbridge Hotel back in June 2015. I can say that this was a pleasant experience. The accommodation was clean and tidy. I was basic enough but I had no complaints. This place is situated in the Vale of Avoca which I consider to be one of the most picturesque places in...

We booked the hotel on-line wanted somewhere quite and and at good value. This we found with the hotel. The Woodenbridge Hotel is only 10 min drive from Arklow and 2 mins from Avoca. It it a simple well appointed hotel with friendly staff. The hotel itself is an old worldly type building. We stayed in the Lodge across the...

Three generations of us visit here regularly for a family dinner after a long weekend walk. We have always eaten in the lounge/bar as there is a pretty extensive menu. It is always good quality. Sometimes, if there is a function on or a wedding, the food can be slow to come out or if there is a match on...

Old school hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Really nice food in the bar. Great part of the country to explore and very well located. Not fancy rooms but when all you're looking for is a place to rest and Irish hospitality this is a good find. Would stay again.
