Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I booked two single rooms directly with the hotel and was impressed with the great value for money. I had to cancel at short notice due to illness, and the receptionist was so accommodating and nice about it. Can't beat customer service like that, I will definitely stay there for my next visit to Arklow.

Stayed for 2 nights, Friday and Saturday whilst in the area for a GAA game up the East Coast on the outskirts of Dublin with my younger son.
Didn't want to stay in Dublin as prices were ridiculous for hotels and was good opportunity to see a smaller town
Hoeys Bridge Hotel does what is says on the tin.
Well priced, comfortable and nice breakfast in the morning.
Its not 5 star but nor is the price and has all you need for a short stay
Staff were great and bar was lively.
Arrived in Dublin Ferry Port Friday afternoon at 6, got the train down no problem (16 euro return) and hotel a 10 minute short walk away.
Also got the train to the game on Saturday so didn't need to rent a car and pay for the car from Holyhead.
Would recommend and would stay again and enjoyed the short visit to Arklow

The Bridge hotel has comfortable beds, a good breakfast and a good Guinness in the bar.
The hotel is in a good location in the centre of Arklow. And a good location for exploring the town and county Wicklow.

Great atmosphere, very comfortable and good food. Very happy with our stay and we would definitely stay again. A little bit old fashioned but that suited us. Very central location and close to everything.

Lovely staff and location, but way to expensive with a horrible bed and a very noisy environment. Admittedly for half the price we paid I would have been more tolerant of the issues. On the plus side, breakfast was nice and the staff was very friendly. A very convenient location.

Was in Arklow for a birthday party me the wife and another couple. We had two rooms one larger than the other but both more than adequate.
I've given this hotel 5 star rating not so much for the rooms that where as good as they could be for this type of hotel but for all the staff from cleaners, Bar staff, reception, breakfast waitresses and owners. Nothing was to much trouble from service to advice they really do make it 5 star. Thanks for helping us have a great weekend and when we return we will defiantly book into the Bridge.

If you are looking for 5 star frills go somewhere else. If you are looking for a homely warm bedroom, a spotless toilet and shower, a very decent breakfast, and staff who are welcoming and seem to enjoy their work, then you need to get a room here. Just spent a weekend for b&b and will definitely be back again.
