We stayed here for the weekend with our 3 year old in one of the apartments. Check in was safe, clean and prompt and the apartment was spotless on arrival. Blackout blinds on the windows were such a welcome feature for our early riser, nice picnic bench on patio with sea view (somewhat obscured by the little cabins pointing out to sea). Plenty of space around to social distance and the Broken Chair cafe was well organised for distancing and everything clearly spotless too. The highlight for my 3 year old was the robot lawnmower 'Norman'. He is still talking about it! Thanks Lillie & crew and we will definitely be back again!

Excellent site , 5 elec hook ups with water , Showers and toilets exceptionally clean, owner who goes out of his way to come and chat with you , and all staff friendly , helpful and efficient. Beautiful setting well maintained Very good value for money E20 per night. I cannot recommend this place enough It’s mainly a B and B /apartment/glamming site with a small no of camper van hook ups. The restaurant on site, the broken chair, serves excellent fresh food 9 to 4 , very competitively priced, and delicious. It’s a walk in with all seating presently outside , their attention to covid regulations are excellent , cleanliness rules surpreme . Wifi available free of charge , can be a bit hit and miss, but works well enough Will definitely return

We enjoyed our stay.
When we arrived we were placed in a bungalow that had been recently painted, unfortunately the smell of paint was to strong for us but we were moved straight away, the apartment we were moved into was a bit older.
We were looking forward to going for breakfast in the cafe next door however we were told that it was fully booked and we need to book in advance, we asked to book for the next morning but we were told it was fully booked. It was annoying because we had not brought anything with us for breakfast/lunch as we knew there was the cafe. It should be mentioned when booking that the cafe needs to be booked in advance. They couldn't even give us takeaway so we had to drive into the town for breakfast.
The beds were comfy and lots of fresh towels.
I'm very sensitive to smells and there was a musty old smell in the bedroom and the bathroom smelled of chlorine. I chose to leave the window open most of the trip.

There is nothing in the area itself but the town is a 8 minute drive away. There are nice views and the people who run it are lovely.

We stayed at Moneylands for a family gathering and took three separate apartments. It worked very well for an even like this, we were all together but separate! The kids could move around between the "houses" but the families could have their own space to sleep. It is a fairly short walk into town, not a pleasure walk, just a way to get there. We booked a mini-bus to get into a restaurant which worked out perfectly.
Breakfast in the café on site The Broken Chair was delicious and very convenient. Booking advisable, this café seems very popular with visitors and locals alike, which is always a good sign.
Loads to do in the area, everything accessible. We are from Wicklow so didn't need advice or help from the very nice staff in this regard. It wasn't cheap but as self-catering accommodation in Ireland goes it was top quality and the going rate. Happy to recommend.

Arrived and was told to pick our spot, there was only one other van on site so we picked the bottom spot. Parked up but it was windy so we moved to the middle one which was sheltered almost immediately. Really lovely spot with electric hookups, really clean toilets and showers.
After 3 nights a lady came and told us to move as the pitch we were on was pre booked. This was a problem as it would take us a couple of hours to drop the canopy, outside kitchen etc etc. Our 15m electric cable wouldn't reach the other pitches and there were no extensions available.
The only other pitch our electric would reach was by the carpark which was really windy and not a great spot.
Unfortunately a group of vans turned up and parked really close to us which made it like a travellers park and after the facilities being immaculate, they were wrecked the next morning.
We ended up leaving a day early as it totally ruined the whole experience.

Wonderful place to stay. We stayed in a lodge called Coral overnight on our way to pick up the ferry in Dublin. The whole place is wonderful and all staff were superb. The lodge was really nicely done and the views and hot tub on the patio made it even more special.

We stayed just one night, a short break. We arrived about 5pm and by 5.15 I was sitting with the cats sunning myself in the suntrap at the side with coffee and home made cake, provided by Mrs Byrne as her usual way of welcoming all her guests. Our room was clean and bright with a sea view. There is another room we stayed in before which has its own little conservatory with a seaview - it might be worth checking if this one is available as it was a lovely facility. Breakfast - the best home made brown bread I have had, scones, big fry, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, omelette, cheese, whatever you want - is served in a conservatory looking out over Arklow Bay. There is also a large sitting room with TV etc. Our hosts could not have been nicer, advising on where to go to eat, making sure we had everything we needed.

Moneylands Farm also has self catering cottages with a swimming pool and a games room with table tennis etc, and a small gym, and virtual golf. These facilities are quite unusual in Ireland, where they are very useful, especially for families, given the unpredictable weather. It is near beautiful beaches and Arklow town, and just 90 minutes from Dublin. The Wicklow mountains are a short drive away.

The previous time we stayed here there was a family having a reunion - some had come over on the ferry to Rosslare - and they had hired several cottages. This seemed such a good idea to me. The best bit was the grandparents were staying in the B and B, and each morning a couple of the grandchildren came over to have breakfast with them, and to get special treatment.

Just back from yet another wonderful stay in Moneylands Farm. We've stayed in the self-catering houses every Easter for the last 20 years, and just keep having to go back. The house is well-equipped, 3 good size bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (2 en suites), open plan living room/kitchen, with lovely patio doors out to a nice decked area and greenery for as far as the eye can see.

Having come here since a child, I now bring my own 2 children, aged 4 and 6. They love the green, open spaces, and it's so safe for the children to play. Really peaceful and quiet too, even when the other houses are occupied, you don't hear a thing. The swimming pool is a big hit with the children too, especially if (when!) the weather isn't so good.
Moneylands is a great location, we do day trips to Glendalough, Avoca, Kia Ora farm in Gorey etc, so we can't fault it.
Lillie and Michael are amazing hosts too, nothing is too much for them, and they will go out of the their way to make the stay as enjoyable as possible.

Would definitely recommend the self-catering cottages to anyone, particularly those with young kids. We're already looking forward to our return trip next Easter!

There is an indoor pool located at Moneylands. I personally see no reason for it to be closed. Feel free to contact Michael and Lilly by phone or email. They will gladly answer any questions you may have.
