Fantastic Bed & Breakfast
Beautiful rooms, very comfortable bed & pillows with on-site parking. A great number of options for breakfast with hot meals cooked to order. Located within easy walking distance of the very quaint town of Carlisle.The hostess Vicky was extremely friendly & helpful.

Excellent B&B in the heart of Wexford Town.
Superb family run B&B right in the heart of Wexford town. Just 2 minutes from shops, harbour and cafe’s. Short walk to the bus station & train station (directly to and from Dublin). Georgina and Bernard are great hosts, warm and welcoming. We have stayed here on two occasions now and found the bedrooms offer comfy beds, bathroom and linen are spotlessly clean and fresh. Great breakfast with a full choice and selection. This is everything a B&B should be. Highly recommend. Looking forward to returning. Tip: Room includes a hairdryer. TV. Kettle. Tea and coffee. Wifi included.

Warm and nice
It was a very pleasant stay, Great hospitality. What was noticed was the cleanliness and the house was super well furnished. Very friendly . Breakfast was nice !!! I would definitely recommend it . Great location aswell , basically in the town!

Perfect weekend break.
This was the perfect place for our weekend break. The location was excellent for us, as we were travelling by train. We were also able to travel to Enniscorthy by bus. Being within easy walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants and the Opera house was a real benefit. Wexford offered us much more than we had expected. Our en-suite bedroom was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Facilities for tea and coffee were in the room. Biscuits were also provided. We only stayed for two nights, but our room was serviced and the towels changed. The cooked breakfast included eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes plus black and white pudding. The usual toast, cereals and fruit juice were available. We particularly enjoyed starting with a small bowl of chopped fresh fruit with yoghurt. Georgina responded very quickly to my initial enquiries. She was an excellent hostess, very warm and welcoming. If we return to Wexford, we will definitely stay at Abbey House again.…

A true Irish guesthouse - highly recommended
I had a fantastic stay at Abbey House. The room was clean, with an en-suite, and was perfect for me as a solo traveller but would also suit a couple. The guest house is absolutely perfectly situated close to the train station and in the heart of town. Georgina was very kind and welcoming, and gave me some fastastic tips on where to go at night. She was also very flexible with my breakfast as I had an early train - true Irish hospitality. I highly recommend a stay at Abbey House.

A few days in Wexford
Excellent place to stay. Georgina was warm and welcoming, the room was comfortable and the en suite small but perfectly fine. Breakfast was delicious! The location was great for exploring the town, plenty of eating, sightseeing, and shopping choices within walking distance. A quick walk from the train and bus station to Abbey House. Georgina is a wonderful host and I would absolutely recommend this B&B if you visit Wexford!

Friendly and homely
Friendly and attentive hosts and staff. Lovely and authentic breakfast experience. Great value for money. Downsides for me were that the bed was very firm ( but that is such a personal thing) and the road noise could be quite loud ( which closing the window effectively blocked). Gorgeous building and great location.

Full week stay for Art In The Open
Abbey House was initially chosen since it was so close to everything we needed during our stay but I would return again for the hospitality of Georgina and her staff. The rooms were so clean and comfortable and there was so much served for breakfast that I actually had to tell her I couldn't eat that much! It was delicious and so well presented though - wonderful Irish feast! It was easy to mingle with other guests at breakfast but also easy to keep to yourself if you preferred. Coffee was great (always an important note for me). The house was quiet in evening with only a bit of noise one evening on the street but we just closed one window and fell asleep. This is a wonderful B&B run by good people who want you to have a nice experience in their home and in their town. I do hope I can get back one day.…

Exactly what I needed for my trip!
The room and location were ideal for a 2 night stay that I needed. Good quality food and Georgina was very helpful from start to finish, going above and beyond to help me, even after my stay when I had to contact her again! I noticed that she even seemed to remember everyone's name over breakfast as she was making conversation. Small details that added to a warm and friendly atmosphere. Comfortable, clean and pleasant stay!
