Very good place! Michael was very nice and he allowed us to leave our bikes in the backyard. Also, he recommended some places to visit. The bedroom was nice and simple, but with all you need. Even coffee and tea. We will come back for sure!
Just returned from a one night stay in wexford with friends very reasonable guest house great value clean and comfortable good breakfast would stay again if in wexford very central and private parking available
I traveled to Wexford from Australia via the U.K. Michael and staff were very welcoming and helpful, and have a wide knowledge of the local area. The room was very comfortable. The Guest House is well located for exploring the Wexford town. Breakfast was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend St George Guest House and am certainly recommending to family and friends.
This was our first B&B experience. We found this place to be cozy and quiet with a tasty breakfast and convenient location. Michael went above and beyond to help us make a bus connection the next morning. We would love to come back and would recommend this place to any couple traveling in Ireland!
The sun shone as our adventure began and our warm welcome from our host was just the best start to our short break. The Guesthouse has 13 bedrooms and provided us with all that we needed and more. If you are looking for good old fashioned hospitality then this is the place for you, offering Bed and Breakfast with plenty of choices to suit everyone. We had arranged car hire and drove from Dublin to Wexford on excellent motorway and enjoyed the most spectacular sunset on the way down to Wexford. We met the most wonderful people and visited many beautiful places and are looking forward to returning again...and again. Incidentally, Wexford just happens to be known as the “sunny coast “ and lived up to its reputation.
This was the cheapest hotel that we stayed at during 2 weeks in Ireland, so it probably was a good value for the money - but the average American traveler would be more comfortable elsewhere. The entire building is old, but adequately maintained. The rooms have dated, but clean furnishings. Our room was on the ground floor, at the end of an added-on glassed-in hallway lined with faded 1960's rock group posters. Breakfast was handled by Michael and an employee, and consisted of a choice of a full Irish breakfast, eggs and meat or cold breakfast items. The location was convenient to the downtown; unfortunately, even though it was just a few days into September, the walking district down towards the water was mostly closed up, whether due to the season or lack of tourism, I don't know.…
During our weeks visit at the St. Georges Guest House we were warmly welcomed and looked after and advised by Michael and Mary. Comfortable beds and satisfying breakfast, made even better by the friendly attitude and atmosphere in the house. I would definitely recommend this place, and hope to visit again.
Michael, the host is a gentleman, helpful and friendly. Perfect location in the heart of Wexford Town, just off the main shopping streets. Clean comfy room. Good value. On site parking and would stay again.
Great Value for money We had a comfortable and restful overnight stay. Michael was more than helpful and offered information regarding attractions/activities and nearby eateries. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Wexford.
When we rang to book I knew I would like the place - the voice on the other end was a friendly and helpful man called Michael - and this continued on to our stay. We got a marvelous friendly welcome and and a lovely fresh room with all we needed for our stay. The proximity to everything is superb - near enough to walk to the the Main Street. The breakfast was first class again served with a smile and friendly banter from Mary and Michael. We will be back.
