We selected this property becasue it was one of the most, if not the most expensive accomodation choices in the area. More expensive than local hotels. We hoped therefore to get a really nice place and dont mind paying a premium for same. However, Maple Lodge is a basic, albeit clean and comfortable b&b, which is dated by todays standards. There is a very big disconnect between the promise/price and the actual product. My poor rating reflects this disconnect. Hosts were nice and helpful.

Host doesn't have good hosting skills. He made us feel unwelcome from start with the comment are ye coming are going as we stood by door with our cases. After entering straight away we were given very limited choice of breakfast options. Basically fruit or cereals for starter and pancakes or full irish or scrambled egg for main.Doesnt compare to website offerings. Dining time option offered was 8.30am and after awkward silence offered second choice of 930am. We appreciate the Covid times we live in but the brusk manner was most unwelcoming.Room extremely dated and seems nothing in decor changed in over 30 years. No tea coffee facilities unacceptable in this day and age. Tv was like a dot on the wall and really tricky control to use with it. The cold tap also needs looking at as tricky to use as well. At breakfast we were served 2 slices of toast cut in quarters. He then said if ye want more just ask but it's the way it was said was very off-putting. You felt like Oliver Twist asking for more. The full irish itself was disappointing. Tip invest in some proper sausages not the tiny ones on offer. Have to say not really made to feel welcome at breakfast. When we tried to book 10am for breakfast at later stage with Yolly it seemed to cause further consternation. Yolly roared for Danny to see if this was okay. We had to firmly say that 8.30 was too early for us. The next morning we decided to skip breakfast altogether. We actually had a fab breakfast at Ohana cafe just up the road served by very friendly and welcoming staff as we didn't want to go through that uncomfortable experience again. On the positive side the cleaner does an excellent job and is to be complemented. The bed was also comfortable to sleep in.Overall very disappointing and not of an acceptable standard. Tip Danny if you don't like guests then please leave it to others as your hosting skills leave a lot to be desired. I don't think we ever felt as uncomfortable in any accommodation we stayed in before Regards Rosaleen and Peter O Neill…

We had a great stay at the Maple Lodge. Yolly and Danny are wonderful hosts , they were so helpful and gave us tips and advice regarding dining options and things to do in the area. Rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious (really enjoyed the Baileys porridge- what a good idea !) Overall a lovely house with lovely hosts- highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful stay at Maple Lodge. We arrived to a very warm welcome from Yolly and Danny with great conversation and recommendations for our stay in Wexford. The breakfast options were delicious and cooked to perfection. The whole property was spotlessly clean which is even more important in the current climate. The B&B is beautifully decorated and has all modern amenities. It's located just 10 minutes from Curracloe beach and only a few kilometres from Wexford town. It's the ideal base for a Wexford staycation. We would highly recommend it to friends and family and we hope you return again in the future. Thanks so much for a great experience!

We stayed at the beautiful Maple Lodge for 5 nights and had the most amazing experience ever. Top class service and the most wonderful hosts. Place is spotless and the breakfast was delicious! Family friendly, recommend 100%. We will definitely be back and already looking forward! Thank you very much for our stay and for my birthday surprise cake, too Yolly and Danny! We had an amazing stay in Maple Lodge and 5 star service. 100% recommended. Very family friendly and can assist you in any way to make your stay wonderful. Beach is very close and in walking distance Italian restaurant with delicious food. Will certainly be back. No hotel can offer such services

Spent two nights here with friends . Very welcoming , great scones and cakes . Great choice for breakfast and plenty of it. The rooms were very clean and well presented. Nothing too much trouble. Thank you Dan and Yolly x

We stayed at Maple Lodge, enjoyed every minute from checking in, to checking out. The owners were super, couldn’t do enough for you. Greeted us with a sherry, after check in, such a nice idea. The rooms were so clean & comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Tea, coffee, scones & treats, available all day. Yolanda & Danny, gave us great ideas for touring in the area. We ( All four of us) would go back to this B&B gladly. Their home was our home, while we were guests at the B&B.
