We stayed here for one night and it is a fantastic place the pub is very authentic and warm and you can see the love and effort put in to it. The room was spotless and lovely The service was outstanding by the staff and we even met the man of the house . The outside sitting area is fantastic . Will definitely return Thank you for having us

Our night out was completely ruined by the woman of the house, who I can only describe as completely rude towards us, demanding we leave our booked table in a different pub at 11:30 at night to pay a deposit that was not asked for at arrival, there was no attempt to be nice to us at all! Now I have to apologise to the rest of the staff as they were all amazing! The woman of the house was very harsh to us in not giving us a chance to explain ourselves, we are in no way a bad group and had no intentions of causing any trouble in the place, and when the woman of the house’s expectations of us were proven wrong she still wouldn’t talk to us, at least an apology in person would have been somewhat helpful! Our rooms were searched and Alcohol was taken out of them which we had no problem with and could understand, but the way it was handled was beyond Ridiculous! The woman of the house could have at least treated us with respect! All in all from this experience I would not recommend it to any young person looking for a good night out in Wexford!

Upon arrival at jim mcgees we asked the lady at the reception desk if it would be OK to have a few drinks in the rooms after we were back from our night out, we made sure to ask if there was people in the rooms next to us to ensure that we weren't loud. The lady told us that it would be ok to have a couple of drinks. After that we went to our rooms left our bags there and went out to play football and then went back to Jim's to have a few drinks, (we were a group of 9) 4 of us arrived at jims and were served alcohol with no problem and found the service to be very good, however when our 5 friends arrived we were told that alcohol was served to over 25s only which we found to be a bit extreme as we were all over 18. So we said fair enough and left Jim's to go look for a pub and thats were we stumbled across t Morris which was a great pub with great service. We were in t Morris for a couple of hours and were enjoying our selves having a couple of drinks when we were rang on the phone by hetty a staff member from Jim's, she demanded we come back to jim mcgees to pay a 300 euro deposit for our 3 rooms which should have been taken off us open arrival as stated on the website( keep in mind we had already paid 420 euro for the 3 rooms for a night in full before arriving). She stated that if we didn't come back immediately we would be 'kicked out' of our rooms. We very polite on the phone to her and in return we got nothing but horrible attitude and unfair treatment. We asked why we needed to pay an extra 300 for the rooms and she said that she found alcohol in our rooms and that we were going to be a noisy group as 'there is no such thing as a group of 9 lads that can be quiet, however we were told we could have a drinks in the rooms prior to this by another member of staff. I thought this was very unfair as they had absolutely no reason to search our rooms as we hadn't been there for the whole day, it would be different if we were there making noise and being a disturbance but we weren't. Every other staff member was great however this one woman just had something against us from the very begin just because we were a big group.

We stayed in Jim McGee Wexford in July while the hotel was full nothing was too much for Derek, he was so helpful even though he was checking in people and running the bar at the same time! We were not waiting to be checked into our room which was spotless and airy ,clean towels were left on both nights. Staff are so helpful nothing too much. Well done all will definitely be staying again

We have stayed in Jim's lots off times over the ye ars but I have to say this time was atrocious got no sleep whatsoever with loud obnoxious guests banging and shouting all night for 2 nights. The room we were in for 3 nights was not cleaned, towels and toilet roll left outside by our door but nobody actually knocked to see if they could clean the room.i can honestly say we will never stay there again.
