Stayed here for 2 nights. Great spot close to the town and lovely walkways. Lovely clean shower and toilet facilities and has freshwater and power facilities. Right nect door to the PAYG gym and swimming pool ran by Wexford coco. Very welcoming amd friendly spot.
Toilet block one closed. Toilet block two, ladies showers didn’t work no water, blocked loo, no toilet paper, chemical sluice filthy. Wash up area dirty and needed cleaning open shores. Asked for a refund for shower and was refused but offered another token
The site is close to the Roslare ferry and town of Wexford. The night we stayed it was extremely windy and we positioned our campervan behind one of the toilet blocks for shelter. Found out after checkin that we needed token for the shower and just caught staff at swimming pool reception in time to purchase them. Not a great site but okay and convient.
Nice easy location, facilities were pretty clean and new. Park is in a location that’s a quick walk into the centre of town which makes it pretty great for the price. Bathrooms were very clean and had plenty of sinks and showers. Kitchen facility was great although, one complaint is that the water from the sink was dangerously hot, nearly seemed to be boiling.
Excellent site overlooking the sea with very clean facilities. Showers and toilets spotless but €2 per shower. Reception is in leisure centre adjacent to camp and access is very easy through centre car park. Pitches are hardstanding and flat. Site very quiet overnight. Ten minute walk into Wexford and recommend The Red Elephant for Asian street food - take away or eat in.
Emailed the campsite for information and got a response asking for my details instead of answers to the questions asked. Booked in and wasn’t told from the website or on arrival that facilities were closed. Asked if we could use the kitchen to quickly cook some perishables we had bought before arriving and the manager and staff member discussed this for several minutes between each other before saying no. Not only did we have to throw away and waste food but then had to spend an hour finding a place to park, walk to and eat breakfast which then made us late for our planned activities for the day. 100% would not recommend!!!
The is a Council run facility. It has all you could ask for in a caravan/motorhome site. EHU, fresh water, waste water, chemical disposal, laundry, dog friendly and only 5mins walk into Wexford Town. It's located on the grounds of the Ferrybank Swimming Pool. Pool entrance fee is subsidised if you'd staying in the site. Curracloe Beach (Saving Private Ryan Beach scene) is 7 - 8kms away. Great spot
Our stay was for 3 nights. Great campsite looking out at the sea and across to Wexford town. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Nice size campsite, not too big and the big plus was it's so peaceful there. It's July and though there were families, there was no noise at night and especially in the morning for that sleep in! Great location for Curracloe beach and Wexford town. Toilet and shower facilities are spotless and checked regularly. Check in is 3pm and check out 12noon...not sure why there has to be a 3 hour gap though. Didn't affect us anyway. Highly recommend this caravan site. Can't wait to go back.
This is a lovely campsite. Staff are very helpful. Toilets are absolutely spotless. Lovely big pitches but can be a bit tight to get caravan out when leaving. Great location to visit Wexford Town which is just a 10 minute Walk over the bridge. The bridge itself is beautiful with boats coming and going and is lit up at night . Curracloe beach is 12-15 minutes drive away, which is absolutely stunning!! There is also a lovely wooded walk there. As a resident of the campsite, you can avail of a discount to swim in the pool right beside the campsite. It's first come, first served and with restrictions, it means standing outside as you're not allowed queue indoors, hoping you'll be left in and if it is raining, it's not ideal. They really should have an option to book a time slot online. Will definitely be back to this campsite…
Swimming pool at wexford absolutely awful costumer service. Swim was at 3.15pm first come first served we arrived at 2.45pm one other family was there at this time and was Told by one member of staff to wait in car until 3.10pm as it was lashing rain. Went back to the door at 3.08pm and another member of staff told us the place was full! 3 very upset children.
