Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Service was not great, ordered 4 drinks and they all come about 10 minutes apart. 1 hour after eating cajun chicken burger, i was sick and for rest of the night. We asked for the bill and no one came near us for another 20 minutes.

My sister, daughter and I stayed in a triple room on a Monday night, just as teenage summer staff had left to return to school. We had a lovely stay. The room was clean and comfortable equipped with all you could need. We ate in the bar and were very pleased with our food...even if they do turn off the coffee machine very early! Breakfast was very fresh and efficiently served despite one poor lady doing it all alone. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Basic enough hotel, but not bad for the price we paid for an august weekend. Food is great, we had breakfast and dinner in the hotel and couldn’t fault it, Michael our waiter was a great asset to the team and hotel. Cleanliness is an issue though, carpets were grubby in the room, mirrors smeared with hand prints and towels that didn’t smell too fresh either. As well as that we were hit with the smell of paint in the room as soon as we walked in, myself and my partner had to get the windows open and leave the room for 15/20 minutes to air out the fumes Finally on the morning of our checkout we tried to ring reception 4 times and couldn’t get through which is unacceptable, and found the receptionist to be quite rude when we went to hand in our room key.

Absolutely disgusting state of the room. Towels not changed for a week. Dirty cups left for a week. Broken toilet brush left in the corner of the bedroom all week. Absolutely revolting hygiene in this establishment

Stayed there for a wedding a couple of days ago it was fantastic, The staff went out of their way to help and it was lovely to see. The food at the wedding was lovely. The room was big and comfortable only negative was Netflix did not work. Drink was reasonably priced. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks so much to all the staff.

To start on the positives, the hotel is a great location near the beach and plenty of parking , breakfast was lovely and so too was the bar food Albeit chaotic at evening time with a very long wait for food and drinks as no glasses available, the room itself in our opinion was not good or not even acceptable , they clearly bought large quantities of grey paint and painted everything in site , badly , the bathroom was just terrible we had to wear flip flops to use the shower , the bed was old with springs in mattress the room really was not good or nice and that would put us off returning.

Delighted to recommend The Coast Hotel Rosslare Strand. I ate there today and enjoyed every aspect of the experience. The terrace was delightful with umbrellas for shade. The staff were friendly and attentive (shout out to Kathleen) and the chowder was stunning! I look forward to returning.

Honestly the food there is terrible ordered hot wings as a main and two bakewell tarts with coke and water, sad thing is only the coke and water were good as well as the wing sauce. The wings were fatty slimy and oily and the bakewell tarts were stale. Currently sick in bed after eating this lunch which I can only assume is what made me sick. I was told by my boyfriend the staff had moody faces on them and the place itself is dark. Not worth it won’t be returning again. If anyone reads this try Sinnotts on the Strand good food and great customer service

I went yesterday for a bite to eat, we were greeted by a lovely young lady, Becky. Well I must say the service from Becky was like no other. Nothing was a problem, she was so attentive. Usually we leave ranting and raving about the food, but this time we left ranting and raving about the service (which was a first, i may add) Thank you Becky, for your excellent customer service. We will be back and hope you will be serving us very soon.

Very pleasant staff throughout the hotel. Stayed for breakfast which was good. We were unable to book a standard room as none were available so had to avail of a superior room at the cost of 185 Euro. On entering the room, it smelt of stale urine, even though the windows were wide open. The room falls below standard for a basic room, let alone a superior one. Tiles cemented together in the bathroom. Stain on the bathmat. Mould around the bath. Peeling paint on furniture doors and bathroom, swinging sink tap etc. In a superior room you would usually find extras, such as, separate shampoo and conditioner, in addition to the wall accessories provided. We were given a face cloth, towels and two shower caps.
