Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Bridget and Mark were excellent hosts, they could not have been more helpful. The rooms were spotless and really comfy, with small touches like tea and biscuits, shampoo and nice shower gel, adding that extra bit of comfort. The breakfasts were delicious and generous. Highly, highly recommended!

A wonderful stay at this beautiful guesthouse . We were greeted by a lovely lady ,the owners Bridget and her son Mark. We had a beautiful family room ,clean and cosy. The rooms are beautifully decorated with tea/coffee /water and even a little bar of chocolate much to the delight of my children. The bathroom/ensuite was clean for a lovely warm shower with beautiful fluffy towels and even if you forget your shampoo and shower gels all these were provided.

The breakfast which we were served was not only fit for a King and Queen but a Palace. It was simply delicious. We were provided with a selection of cereals and even my children had a wonderful choice of cereals. We had a feast of a full Irish breakfast, I had hardly room on my plate to sample the lovely homemade bread and toast provided with freshly brewed coffee and tea.
My children eyes lit up when they were served pancakes. They said they were the best pancakes they ever tasted.
Bridget and Mark providing and catering for not only adults but children as well. The dinning area is beautiful decorated and clean and I would highly recommend it. The owners Bridget and Mark were simply wonderful hosts and we will definitely be returning for another stay at this beautiful guesthouse.

My husband and I have been to Inishross House many times. Due to the lockdown it has been nearly a year since our last visit. We were delighted that apart from all the new government guidelines (hand sanitizer, social distancing & masks) nothing has changed when you walk in the door of Inishross House. The welcome that greats you is what Irish hospitality is all about, a home away from home. The rooms are spotlessly clean with plenty of character. The breakfast is delicious and cooked to order, you certainly won't be hungry after it. What sets Inishross House apart from the competition is the care and hospitality the guests receive from their hosts. Thank you Bridget and Mark for making us so welcome and we will see you again soon.

Stayed overnight after a long absence due to COVID and enjoyed a lovely stay. The B&B was spotless as always which was of particular reassurance during a pandemic. It was tastefully furnished with tea and coffee making facilities and soft fluffy towels provided. Breakfast was a feast fit for a king and Bridget and Mark could not
have been more accommodating. 10/10

I stayed here with a work trip this week. Now I avoid B&Bs and always stay in hotels but this place has changed my mind.

Arrived around quart to 8, was able to park for free right outside the B&B. I was greeted by the hosts and I stood and had a lovely conversation with the landlady. She was so warm and welcoming I felt right at ease.

Her son arrived and he showed me to my room up on the top floor, the room was a great size, tv was outdated but for the price its great value for money.

Facilities wise, tea, coffee in the rooms with travel cups, so you can take a brew with you. A bottle of water and a caramel wafer, I'm lactose intolerant and crohns so I really wanted the wafer but couldn't 😂.

En suite was spot on, they provided towels, shower gel and shampoo in the room. Bed was very comfortable and the bed linen felt soft.

I had a great night's sleep but had to be up early so didn't grab breakfast, I don't really eat in the mornings anyway but the dining room looked lovely.

This was a 10/10 stay for me, I'll definitely be booking here everytime I'm in the Waterford /Wexford area.

Thanks so much!
Ash, from Sheffield.

Amazing value for money in the heart of historic New Ross. The house itself is well over 300 years old so it comes with some of the 300 years old house problems So if you’re looking for the Ritz Carlton or the Four Seasons, we’ll your best go elsewhere.
The property is run by a mother (Bridget) and son (Mark) team who have a combined 70 years of experience in the hospitality business. The rooms are clean and very presentable along with a few creaky floorboards. The bathrooms are compact as you would expect in an old establishment and very very clean as well.
Breakfast is available from 8am to 10am daily but if you have an earlier or later departure Bridget and Mark will go out of their way to make sure that they can accommodate any request. A typical breakfast consisted of, a range of cereals, yogurt, juice(s), white bread and/or brown bread, full Irish Breakfast so that’s tea or coffee, mushrooms, bacon, two eggs any style, sausages, black and white pudding, beans, tomatoes, where do I stop. If the Full Irish isn’t your boggle then Mark with a little bit of notice can prepare any meal at your request. Eggs Benedict, avacado on toast, waffles, basically anything.
Location: Two minute walk to the heart of New Ross and free parking is available upon request. Overall Six Stars!!

I stayed here for over a week with my partner and was greeted with such a warm welcome. The food is amazing, Bridget and Mark will make sure you're well fed before you start your day and accommodate to any dietary needs. The rooms are impeccably clean, colour scheme so comforting and the beds so comfortable! We've never had such a good sleep in our lives, you can definitely feel the quality and how much care and detail has been put into every room. We will definitely be coming back every year. Bridget and Mark go above and beyond without a second thought, they even dropped us to the bus stop when we were leaving. This b&b gave us something, no big expensive hotel ever has, a second home.

Writing this during the pandemic where essential work in the area is taking place...

Workers like myself then still have to travel far away from home and need a place to stay. So we are very lucky to have such kind hosts that follow these tough rules and help us out.

First off and to get out of the way... this home is extremely clean ( which more than keeps up with guidelines )

Even with that though they somehow still have the time to make you feel welcome and even make you feel like you could ask for help if needed, if anyone is looking for a place to stay during these times or even in the future where you might be considering a holiday then this would be a great choice and would be helping reward the people that provided help in the past to others who needed it !

I loved this place!! It’s like staying at your nans!! Very oldy worldly with antique furniture everywhere. Very comfortable and just about every detail has been taken care of… couldn’t fault it. Then there’s the breakfast…. When you go down in the morning and order the Irish breakfast massive tip be very hungry!!! The host goes above and beyond. When you sit down you are presented with orange juice and fresh coffee in a cafeteria the table is made up like Christmas day with various kinds of bread cereal jams preserves four different types of yoghurt and a large bowl of freshly cooked fruit which literally had nearly every fruit you can imagine!! Breakfast comes into courses first of all you’re presented with A small pancake with cream and fruit. Then a freshly cooked to perfection full Irish breakfast with endless toast. Honestly amazing I have stayed in a lot of very nice hotels but this little B&B in new Ross smashes them all out of the park and the host is such a lovely lady!! 5*

I stayed here for one night traveling from Wexford to cork after reading the amazing reviews that popped up on booking.com and hadn’t even planned on staying an extra night of my hols. So glad I did. Bridget is the nicest welcoming hostess I’ve ever met felt like I knew her for years. I wasn’t lucky enough to get parking across the way but was actually glad to get parking where it’s a bit flatter at the top of the hill within walking distance as I am terrified of hills anyways. It’s such a lovely old worldly charming cosy establishment with rich colour schemes and the most unusual furniture and bed linen I’ve ever seen. Every single thing you could need in a bed room including bottle of water which the hotels don’t even provide, takeaway cups for tea and coffee and even a wafer bar. Plenty toiletries also and not just the miniature ones. Lovely cosy throws on the beds also. The TV even had some of the satellite channels which is most unusual. I had the best nights sleep ever.

My breakfast table which was huge and not just set for one it was bigger than my kitchen table. It had everything on it so I didn’t have to move. Selection of cereals, yoghurts, brown bread, toast, fruit, orange juice, big pot of tea/coffee cooked breakfast and even a pancake hence I tried them all and was set up for the day.

Even though there was other guests I felt like a VIP. Could have stayed chatting all day. Her son / grandson helped me put my huge case into my boot while I was able to quickly double park outside on check out with no problems.

Thanks so much to Bridget for an amazing experience.
