In our opinion, the bedroom was reasonable, clean and comfortable. T V did not work. The staff and duty managers were friendly and considerate in manner. The hotel itself was clean and accommodating. However, the breakfast was ample but lacking sufficient items of food on some occasions. We were overcharged for meals which were average, and which were advertised at...

My wife and I stayed here for a golf weekend recently with a group of other couples. We had come from a lovely hotel in midleton and were expecting a top class hotel because of the price difference. We were dissapointed. The rooms were a good size but were very warm and at night time we left the window open...

I'm sorry to be giving this hotel a mixed review. The price was reasonable but a comedy of errors and a dirty hotel room did colour our stay. Only one lift worked in the hotel and even that one was an ordeal. The day we arrived the keys to the rooms wouldn't work and every time we left then wanted...

Hotel looked good, but set back, not shown on photo. Busy road at front. The breakfast was below standard and the breakfast staff bordering on incompetent. However I cant praise the fron of staff enough. Especially Sharon. They gave us an upgrade for asmall fee to the penthouse. The room was tired with makeshift toilet flush and no air conditioning....

Very clean, spacious room. We were both flat out in the comfy bed. Great wifi (it hit 30mb in our room so really fast). We had a really chilled weekend here and a few days working beforehand. Parking was never a problem. I think there are currently problems with the tv which made channels limited, but I'm sure this'll be...

Me and my fiancée stayed here for one night on the 5th of September, we were greeted by a lovely friendly receptionist. Our room was clean and tidy and very nice the only flaw was there was not many stations working on the telly. We went downstairs for bar food and was served by a lovely bar man called Micheal...

Really nice receptionist (Sarah?). Felt very welcome on arrival. Modern friendly bar with clean comfortable bedrooms. Didnt sample the food in the bar but the menu looked really nice. Buffet breakfast was very tasty, the waiting staff werent very welcoming however and bordered on rudeness. Overall average hotel let down by a few staff and some cosmetic issues in the...

stayed for one night,a Saturday night and allowing for being busy the check-in was very professional. Swift and efficient, its not often you get that. Room was bright and more importantly clean with crisp bed clothes. Lunch in bar was good value with attentive staff and good service,no complaints. Breakfast was nothing special but good enough, staff could be more attentive and...

We were only in Waterford for two nights but our stay at the Fitzwilton was made so much more enjoyable by their extraordinary front desk receptionist, Sharon. We were hopeful to find a local hurling match and she investigated to find one close by, as well as helping us to find our way around the city. Many thanks!

Great location in Waterford city. As you arrive it is very welcoming with a lovely bar and rosy lobby. Nice breakfast and dinners. The rooms are nice and clean but are a little disappointed by the shower in bathroom but in all its ok. A nice staff always willing to help. Beds are soft and comfortable.
