Lovely friendly hotel staff were very helpful. Carpark hard to find and bit of walk. Food was top notch. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Very good breakfast. Cocktails were really lovely but expensive at 12.50.
Needed a bed for one night in Waterford & found this hotel on a booking site. A room with breakfast and swimming pool access was much cheaper than the other hotels room only rate, so I was not expecting it to be a good experience. But as it was only for one night, I decided to give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised, I'm relieved to say. The room 238 was a decent size and clean. It was on the second floor, looking out on a side road, so quiet as well. The breakfast was help yourself hot & cold buffet with lots of choices. Oat & soya milks were available next to the cereal. I didn't use the swimming pool this time. Be aware that a swimming hat is compulsory & can be purchased from reception for €2. I would definitely stay again.
Nice Hotel, friendly staff. A long walk uphill to the Car park on check out day with case etc.Thank God it was not raining ! Your pay as you go rather than an open account with all purchases added as obtained is annoying and also has a little of " dont trust " about it, despite the fact I was a checked in Guest. ! Staff member did point out to some notice on the wall in the Bar.
the hotel was clean and tidy the staff where friendly and helpful, the food was good it and is in easy walking distance to the town centre there is also a car park opposite the hotel we would stay again if we lived nearer to southern Ireland
Go hiontach ar fad. Bhíos ana-shásta ar fad ar fad. Chailleas an bricfeast ach bhí greim agam sa tábhairne. Ní bheidh aon leisce orm fanacht ann aríst amach anso. Bhí TG4 le fáilt ar an dteilifíst, measaim, agus cuireadh comhairle den scoth orm sular bhaineas an t-óstán amach. Míle baochas, a chairde.
And the step in the room was very dangerous shoud only put young people in it . Outher than that we had a great time. Everything elce was great staff were very helpfull food was lovey so i would if you were older dont go in to that room.
Just back from a 1 night stay with the three kids. This hotel is a good, solid family hotel, which is resonably priced! So well catered for families- board games, play area in the bar, good size family rooms, nice pool and the winner for us was the breakfast!!! Kids loved it! Loads of choice. It was our second stay this year, we will be back again! And a mention for the staff- anyone one we met, bar, reception, restaurant, accomdation- so helpful and friendly. Thank you.
Stayed there for Two Nights Rooms and staff are Fantastic especially Sarah she's a lady very friendly and helpful and would go beyond for us every time definitely Coming back , Waterford is a great spot
Room was overlooked by apartments absolutely no privacy . No air conditioning in rooms carpets on corridors had stains had to queue for morning coffee machine and there was only one machine which ran empty
Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights last week. Monday to Friday. I am not understanding any of the keyboard warrior horrible reviews. We found our room no problem at all. Was really big and clean. It had eveything you needed. Ironing board, hair dryer, safe and a fan (which was needed as it was warm) bathroom was a good size and shower worked great. All our meals were really nice. Everyone at our table agreed the food was nice. If I was to nitpick for any faults it would be that the restaurant was a little manic but the staff had so many people to serve . They done a great job. Worked for their money. Always had a smile. And didn't sleep great but that was down to using the fan. The hotel can't control that. The beds were really nice and comfy. Also a couple of stains on the carpet in corridor could be sorted out. That is honestly the only "big" issue we had with the hotel. Also heard some nights the entertainment was really good. Thanx for a lovely stay 😊 …
