The most unprofessional team I’ve ever encountered. Unwilling to honour booking information that was confirmed over the phone and via email. Spoke to numerous staff members regarding rates for a particular date. Received the information via email confirmation. The hotel was then unwilling to honour the rate that it quoted over the phone and in writing. Unreliable. Unprofessional. Not to be trusted.

You requested a group rate for your event in another hotel however did not avail due to our terms and conditions. Your guests booked themselves at the rate that available online. We did confirm a rate for an individual room but not for a group with no guarantee of holding rooms. Some of your guests availed of this rate and still have their bookings in place. We really enjoyed our short stay at the Woodlands Hotel, Waterford. They staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Holly on reception. The room was spotless and good excellent. The lads in the bar were very engaging which is a joy to encounter on a night out. Well done to all at the Woodlands. We will be back for another visit. John & Marcella

Nice hotel night porter very nice and helpfull. Food was ok only there for breakfast which was only 10.50. Room was nice and comfortable and very good value it was also very convenient and parking was good also. Staff were nice I would stay there again

My partner booked a night in the hotel about a month ago while getting her Chemo. She had been diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer back in October and her treatment has been quite aggressive leaving her sick and sometimes hospitalised. She booked this hotel on a whim as we all needed a break and thought "feck it" let's go over the Christmas. We arrived Stephens day and from the moment we walked in it was everything we had been looking for and more. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helpful, the room was gorgeous comfy clean and spacious, they also had a travel cot ready and waiting for us which saved us room in the car. The bar was cosy and inviting and the food was both to die for and very affordable. Two steaks, goujons, spuds and Gravy for the baby 3 absolutely unreal deserts, a coke and two fabulous cocktails for 95 euros. You don't get that many places nowadays. For a family of 4 with breakfast included was 220 which for one night may seem steep it was over Christmas and compared to other hotels incredibly affordable. I cannot recommend this place enough and hope to stay there again in the new year when the weather is a bit dryer and herself is able for it. If anyone from the hotel reads this I want to say the most heartfelt thank you for giving out family much needed rest and relaxation in a time where days like that for us are few and far in between. One last thing the pints are to die for …

Wow wow wow,, we had a fabulous stay here at the woodlands hotel ,from the minute we stepped inside the hotel’s front door until we checked out, the staff made us feel like we were coming home so warm and friendly a chat and a smile for everyone. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was superb, an ideal location for touring and sightseeing in the sunny south east ,, we will most definitely be returning soon, Thank you all so much for a wonderful stay John and Catherine..

We visited Woodlands Hotel on Saturday 15th October for one night. Two adults and two kids. We got a family room which had one double bed and three single beds, large bathroom with a bath and a separate shower room. The room was very large and well equipped with tea, coffee facilities, large flat screen tv, hairdryer. It was very clean, plenty of fresh towels and lots of shower gels, soaps etc. The leisure Centre is fantastic. Indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and the changing rooms are clean and large. The staff in the hotel are very polite, attentive and very helpful. We ate in the bar on Saturday night and the food was very good. Breakfast on Sunday was very good quality. I highly recommend a stay in this hotel. Exceptional value for such a great hotel. We will be back!…

We stayed here for the weekend and everything was lovey, relaxing, clean and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Location wise it was perfect to get out and explore - the mini mes had the best time and loved their room. The breakfast was fab and the girls looking after the breakfast room couldn’t have been nicer. The food is lovely but we spent most of our days exploring Waterford but we had a lovely experience in the leisure centre and can’t fault the hotel at all, everyone was so friendly, professional and helpful especially with a super excited 7 year old and a very boisterous 2 year old the staff couldn’t have been nicer - very family friendly in my opinion Definitely be back, the kids thought it was then best Holiday ever!!

We stayed at The Woodlands hotel this week for three nights. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The bedroom was fabulous , with great light from two large windows Breakfast was cooked to perfection and great table service from Paul. Location is excellent with a large carpark and free parking ,easy to visit other towns when it suits.This time we drove to Killmacthomas and Lismore both towns very picturesque We highly recommend this hotel and hope to return soon
