Brilliant stay. Manager of Waterford Travelodge is really helpful and friendly. He remembered us from our previous stays. He was able to recommend places to visit and restaurants. Fantastic. Thank you.
The room was very clean when we arrived. Anything we needed towels etc we only had to ask. Staff were very kind and helpful kids had a great time. Would 100% stay again. We met Christina, Joseph and Noel during our stay and they are a credit to the hotel. Its right next to macdonalds, shakedog and buses that take you to tramore. Its a short bus ride to the Quay were you can take a bus to dunmore east.
The person on reception when we were checking in was extremely rude, My godson(1yr) was very upset and tired and crying and the person at reception was taking his time getting our keys for the rooms he was barely communicating with us and he could see we were frustrated and tired after a long day. We were made pay a €50 security deposit because we paid with cash and not card there’s no air conditioning in the rooms the bathroom floods when you have a shower or bath and we were put on the first floor and they knew we had a buggy for the baby and they don’t have a lift so we had to drag the buggy all the way up the stairs and when I asked did they have a lift the man at reception said no carry it up the stairs and he could see we had loads of bags 4 children and a buggy to carry and didn’t even offer a hand. My sister in laws tv had no signal so my nephew(9yrs) went down to explain and the man on reception told him he would be up in 2 minutes and hand gestured him to go away. The rooms were way too warm and quite dirty. I would never stay here again…
Good value for money. No noise from other rooms or corridor. The beds were comfortable. Free car pat and easy to park. Good location 20min walk to city centre or €8-10 for taxi. Lovely cafe near by called Blackfriars Coffee perfect for breakfast.
The staff weren't really present when needed. Room was a mess, windows had bird poop on them while it lacked ventilation. Carpet needed a proper clean and it's ridiculous how no one cleans your room during your stay.
Very clean and tidy room. Shower was unbelievable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Shake dog and McDonald's right outside hotel. Bus stop just up from hotel. Loads of shops within walking distance. Only thing I would say is fir the elderly when booking make sure u ask for room downstairs and a fan as rooms are extremely hot at night.
Overpriced but room clean and comfortable. Diner breakfast did not suit me and again overpriced, staff not friendly, could not provide tap water. Only stayed here as original hotel booking was cancelled on us.
could do with bit of tidy up outside the corridors smelled quiet musty ir damp on way to rooms.cpuld do with a deep clean possibly. staff helpful and friendly. supplied extra pillows, hairdryer on request room could do with fan as was extremely humid
enjoyed my stay here, nice place and not as expensive as other places in Waterford 🙂🙂 in a good location only a 5-10 minute walk to the city centre. quiet and peaceful. will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Waterford.
Rooms stuffy and over hot , staff provided a fan but wasn't enough to make the temperature comfortable in that sized room with four people ,i asked where could i empty our bin and was handed a refuse sack to keep my rubbish in for the 2 night stay .
