Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What you’d expect from the Brand. Noise from bathroom extractor plant and from adjacent fast food outlet and drive through, disappointing. Couldn’t close windows as too warm. Other than that, reasonably satisfied. Mike H Glasgow.

Travelodge Waterford was a very pleasant stay for us either end of cycling the Waterford to Dungarvan cycleway. Great value compared to other hotels, clean and helpful staff. It is the other side of town to the start of the cycleway but only adds another couple of km to the journey

Stayed here for one night, Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Only one drawback is the early afternoon staff or one in particular (Sherif). The guy was rude, arrogant and inconsiderate. We arrived early and only asked to fill in the forms to check in and wasn't expecting to go to our room as check in was only 15.00 but oh no not Sherrif of the desk sherif there was a resounding no it can't and will not happen, think you need to learn some manners mate after all it's the joe public like us who's paying your wages.

We have enjoyed in Waterford and Travelodge was comfortable to spend our night. We can not complain with anything. The rooms were cleaned and the staff gave us some advice about the city and places to eat.

This motel could do with a lift for sure, to get to our room was like carrying out a fitness test! But Travelodge is what it is, a clean room with facilities you need. We were in Room 50 which is on the 1st floor at the end of the corridor. There is no aircon in the room, but the windows open. Don't have this room if you don't like the sound of traffic or loud talking, because you are right by the McDonalds drive through! It doesn't bother me, it is what it is...The male receptionist is helpfulness itself and you can't beat him when it comes to helpfulness, politeness and efficiency. It's the staff that make a hotel's good name

It's what you come to expect from a Travelodge,we stay in them all over the place, and there all pretty much the same, room is spacing, it's clean and tidy, our room starting to show signs of tiredness, but were not in it long enough to worry about, the staff are friendly and helpful, the only one issue we had, was the herd of elephants who were above us, who thought it acceptable to thunder around at 7 in the Morning, making as much noise as they can ,to wake us up, some people have no respect for others .

We booked two rooms and stayed for one night. Positive: Bathrooms had towels, soap and hot water. We had enough towels. The bed was comfortable. Not so positive: It was warm out and unfortunately we had one fan to share between the two rooms, not ideal. It ended up being very warm, making it hard to sleep. We did not have access to a fridge or telephone in the room.

Hotel is a maze, not easy to find rooms. No lift. 1960's bathroom indesprate need of refurbisment, I wouldnt bath a dog in there. Breakfast - good quality food but micro portions tea/coffee OR orange juice not both, no seconds. You could get the breakfast on a starter plate, somebody is making a lot of mone charging for a breafast and not delivering. USE PREMIER INN.

The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and it suited our needs as a family. I traveled with my 2 daughters and the hotel was well situated for us to go wherever we wanted. We had a great few days away and the situation of the hotel made everything easy. Plenty of places to eat and some shops etc within walking distance and a quick drive to Tramore, the City and Dunmore. We will definitely use this hotel again.

We spent one night here in a room of 3 single beds. The room was clean, there is a big car park, and a mac donald beside. It was one of the cheapest jotel we found and we really appreciated our night here.
