My gps didn’t want to bring me to the Hotel so I got a little lost as first but it is actually easy to find. I booked on line prior to me getting into Ireland. The check in process was easy. They have a secured parking garage for your car. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a bar. The room was clean and comfortable. I ate dinner there and breakfast. The only downside was that there was construction going on in the building and it woke me up the next morning. It is a five minute to Reginald’s Tower and the museums.
We decided to go back and stay in the Waterford Marina Hotel and take advantage of their great offer of bed breakfast and evening meal. Again, the hotel has everything we wanted, clean, tidy spacious comfortable warm room, great bar and restaurant, food was fantastic for both the meal and breakfast. Can’t fault it. Will be back next year.
Overall our experience in this hotel was 10/10. The staff were very friendly, the room was basic but nice and the breakfast was simple but perfect. The views of the river were amazing and the location is 10 minutes walk to the main streets and shops I would highly recommend staying here.
Had a lovely weekend in this lovely hotel. It was lovely to see the Christmas decorations up when we arrived on the Friday evening. The room was perfect with coffee/tea facilities, safe for personal items and ironing board/iron. We ate in the bar and the food was delicious. The staff were all welcoming and friendly especially Liam he was a gem. There is parking available both outside the entrance and in the attached carpark. I am looking forward to returning again soon.
We held our Christmas lunch for The Waterford M.S. society at this venue. It was glorious affair. The room was decorated in a tasteful and festive manner. The staff took every care and paid attention to detail to make our members had an enjoyable time. The seasonal menu was imaginatively varied and most importantly tasted good. A great time was had. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a function. Particularly suitable for an SME. Carlo Ustiani - MS Society Waterford
5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Having spent last Sunday afternoon at Winterval we decided to grab a bite to eat as we were parked in Bolton Street car park. We were glad we did! The food was superb and plenty of it. Congratulations to all the staff including the bar staff, they were so attentive. We will definitely be back. Wishing you all continued success.
Probably the best location for any hotel in Waterford, the Marina sits on the banks of the vast River Suir, within touching distance of the water. Long established as a location of hospitable service, our get together confirmed just that. As a group of 4 we were looked after as individuals by the well trained and delightful staff. A new menu provided lots of options and very little was left on our plates. A great big shout out to the excellent bar staff who took great care of us, your friendliness and attention to detail I hope is well recognised.
I spent a few nights here recently while visiting Waterford. The friendly and engaging staff were wonderful. The breakfast was basic but adequate and the evening meals were delicious. WI-FI was good and available throughout the hotel. The location is good and parking is available. It was very good value.
Checked in on the 1st of October, two rooms and booked a meal for 10pax to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday!! I booked with Caroline who was fantastic (very professional).. when we got there we were welcomed by the manager on duty Michael McGorry, he was so helpful he couldn't do enough for us, food was lovely, and the girls that were serving, they were so friendly!! We went into the bar after meal...A gentleman on his own was the entertainment for the night, he did not disappoint, he got the crowd up on their feet, barman Dermot kept on top of things, not a bother to him!! The staff here are fantastic, reception staff what can I say, great team!! We had a great time and my dad really enjoyed his birthday, thank you all so much we had a wonderful time.
Couldn't find my bike key today and after turning tge room over and everything inside out 3 times, searching carpark and garage, Reception send me head of Housekeeping, Helen, to give it another look ( fresh set of eyes)... After lifting up the bed for me to check under and re-checking everything, she looked at the bin and I told her that room keeping had the trash bag... She phoned her young colleague and, voila, two minutes later she knocked on the door with a big smile and my bike key... Can't thank you Ladies enough for helping out with the search.. Much appreciated... 😃😃
