We stayed one night. The rooms are comfortable. The property is situated beautifully with lovely views. It’s only 10 mins from Waterford city. The bathroom and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast next morning was good! Great value for money. There is free onsite parking (6 spots for about 6 rooms).
A really lovely BnB. We were at a wedding in Faithlegg nearby and delighted we booked into Samuel's Heritage. Greeted by a very friendly dog. Hosts were very helpful and welcoming. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Excellent breakfast and very good value. Just 10 minutes from Faithlegg also (booked via AirBnB)
This is a great B&B. Susan is very accommodating. Room is very well appointed and roomy. We’re impressed right from the start. Has a lounge and a room for breakfast. Susan was very accommodating to bring my husband a drink in the room so he didn’t have to walk. I would highly recommend this place. A+++++
As this was a very clean and well appointed stay, it wasn't what I expected. It was more like a hotel then a B&B. Susan and her husband were very nice. Susan made a yummy breakfast. Des had suggested a place to eat dinner down the lane and it was great. If you are looking for a more hotel like stay instead of a homey stay, this place is for you.
Our second trip to this truly wonderful bed and breakfast and still would highly recommend. Welcoming friendly couple, beautiful impeccably clean room and great breakfast. A gem of a place plus great location.
Pleased to be able to state that I am unable to remember when I first stayed at this home from home b&b but sure Susan and Desmond would be able to tell, have received the same open arm welcome on annual return, love the spacious rooms equal to and in some cases larger than four or maybe five star hotels, where can you get a breakfast better than that prepared by chef Desmond and served by Susan both excellent hosts,b&b with small gym though now closed due to covid19,guest lounge with microwave, tea making facilities, cold water on tap, cutlery etc.where cold/light hot meals could be prepared, close to city centre and its many places of interest,eg.Waterford Crystal, some six to seven excellent restaurants in near city and rural areas including Dunmore East a beautiful seaside resort 12 kilometres from b&b,many golf courses nearby including Waterford Castle and Faithlegg Hotel and Golfing Resort,…
We booked Samuel's about a month ago based on trip advisor. We stayed for 2 nights and made to feel very welcome by our host Dez Lovely large room comfortable beds and every facility you could want. About 15 minutes outside Waterford in a quiet location. We both enjoyed our breakfast plenty of choice. We were the only guests at the time so distancing not a problem. Plenty of sanitizer, we felt safe and comfortable. At 190 Euros fot 2 nights B&B very good value
We stayed here this week following a few days away on a short break. We were delighted with our choice as, with the current restrictions due to Covid19, we felt it was a safe rural location away from the madding crowds of cities and towns. The accommodation was extremely clean and all rooms, communal areas etc were well equipped with hand sanitisers and everything necessary to ensure the safety of visitors and hosts alike. We were warmly welcomed by Susan and Des who are wonderful, friendly hosts, full of interesting information on what to see and do in the area. The rooms are extremely spacious and, as another reviewer mentioned, more in line with the type of rooms available in hotels rather than a private house. There is a separate entrance for guests and seats outdoors with lovely views over Waterford city and the surrounding countryside. The breakfast and choices on the breakfast menu were all excellent. The fresh fruit was delicious and the food was perfectly cooked. The charming hospitality of the owners was just the icing on the cake! We will be back!…
We booked 2 rooms at this wonderful B&B and we could not have been more pleased! The rooms were clean, beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice. The cooked-to-order breakfast was delicious and Susan was such a gracious hostess. Highly recommended!
This is an excellent B&B.The rooms are practically Hotel standard,Bathroom spotless, bed very comfortable, room very spacious, good TV service and air conditioning.Breakfast is freshly cooked and choices of cereals, jams, breads etc are nicely varied with a local touch.Susan the proprietoress even offered to drive me to the location where the function I was attending was on...did'nt have to avail of the offer but it was a nice touch.Herself and her husband Des offered a friendly and professional service.A top class B&B for anyone visiting the Waterford area .
