The room needed some updates. Water facets were not secure, no hot water and no water pressure. They did not even provide breakfast.
The name is The Vee Bed & Breakfast and we booked it with the purpose of eating and hitting the road.
Great location to walk for some pubs. Secure entrance.
Would pass on staying here.

The room was spotless cannot fault it but it’s the weirdest place I ever stayed. More like a hostel rather than a b&b so don’t know why it’s called that. We had to ring upon arrival and a man met us with the door code and showed us our room. He showed us the kitchen and pointed out the cereal, microwave and fridge with milk, butter and bread and told us we could help ourselves the next morning. It’s not a manned b&b. Also, it’s cash only so hubby had to run to the cash point a few minutes away. We left before breakfast next morning as found the whole set up very odd.

The room is comfortable and pleasant, and the remaining facilities are ok. I was not lucky with the other occupants as they were filthy and left the bathroom always dirty, but that is not the owner's fault. Breakfast was not provided due to Covid 19, and Booking.com failed to update me on that, so it was annoying that I only found out once I arrived. Still waiting to see if I will get any refund. Location is very good if you intend to visit the city and not worry with parking the car.

Firstly, this is not a proper bed and breakfast. On arrival you are given an access code for the door and the owner leaves the walls are shabby on entrance. The room was very poor. Ensuite tiny, and sink is right in the way of the wc. No wardrobe just a few cheap shelves. The bed was awful. I have back pain all day. No card taken for payment only cash. Do not stay here people

We had originally booked with Hazelbrook B&B. When we arrived, they asked us very nicely if we would stay a few doors down at the Vee. It was fine with us, so we stayed here. The people that run The Vee are super nice, friendly, and helpful. They were accommodating with our dietary restrictions.
Our room was large, very pretty, comfortable, and clean. We didn’t hear any noise from the street or hall.
Breakfast was really good. They prepare the hot food when you arrive in the dining room. They have cold items (like cereal and rolls) waiting.
The location is very convenient to activities in Waterford. Our hostess has a variety of great suggestions of things to see and do on our vacation.
We had the room at the front. We couldn't hear the noise from the street at all. The room was very quiet.
This was a very warm and inviting place to stay. I would strongly recommend staying at the Vee.

Not impressed it's ment to be delux on suite room but it's nothing like the pictures is was small and cramped the sheets had marks on them and it's ment to be a bed and breakfast and only when we got there were we told there would be no breakfast in the morning when it was to late to cancel and go else where. Also the bed was so uncomfortable I woke up with pain in my back sorry to say we won't be back

I stayed there about 2 years ago and will go again soon. It's a great place with a great host. There's parking on the premisses. It's close enough to other amenities and close to the centre. Breakfast is very nice and filling.

The host, Helen, was excellent! Went above and beyond to make sure you had everything you needed. She even did our laundry! Breakfasts were tasty and plentiful - very much the huge Irish breakfast. The rooms (and the entire home) were well-appointed and everything was super clean. It was excellent value for money. Location was wonderful - we just parked the car and walked into downtown Waterford.
Helen was a wealth of information and lovely to chat with.

Full disclosure: we had one of the smaller rooms and it was a bit tight with our luggage (and we had carry on bags only) - however there are much larger, beautiful rooms with en suites you could try to request.
The wonderful service and overall friendliness outweighed this minor issue.

Stayed 8th July 2017, booked by app on route to Waterford, the guest house was full and we got last available room, the manageress Helen is a lovely woman, she even did our laundry free of charge, bedding was top quality and bed very comfortable, a small garden terrace area was perfect as a smoking area and tables available for alfresco breakfast, Helen was helpful, informative and very knowledgeable about waterford, car parking was available at the front of the B and B, the property was only open 7 weeks when we stayed, everything was new and fresh . Within striking distance of city centre would highly recommend. Thank you Helen for a wonderful stay.
