Mary and Keiran have created a welcoming and warm guesthouse with spacious rooms, beautifully appointed common sitting areas and 2 different breakfast rooms. The breakfast was magnificent with single portions of fruit, delicious home made yogurt and cooked to order classic Irish breakfast. They provided information about restaurants and pubs that were helpful. We enjoyed talking about a variety of topics which is always interesting as you gain understanding and perspective to talk with a local person when traveling. Downtown Sligo is beautiful and Pearse Lodge is a gem.

Lovely place to stay. 20 minute walk from the city square. The breakfast was a lot, we left with full tummies. It was hard to decide what to have with all the choices! The hosts were so nice and accommodating! We would definitely recommend and return if in the area.

Apon arrival Mary met us, showed us our room and provide valuable information of the local area tourists need. Our room was well appointed, clean, tidy and comfortable. Mary made our stay that touch above the rest with small personal things like, a chocolate for each day we stayed. Home made Rockyroad and Granola. Pearse Lodge does provide breakfast if you request it, my wife and I are early starters it doesn't suit us so we provide our own cereal but need milk. Mary provide us with milk and a receptical to keep it chilled. We can't thank Mary enough for making our stay very enjoyable.

My sister and myself went on a roadtrip last year and Sligo was our first stop. We came across Pearse Lodge on booking.com and it was the most wonderful stay. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast was a great start to the day. Keiron and Mary were the most amazing and friendly hosts and had plenty of recommendations for eating out and places to see. Talk about service with a smile! I recommend this B&B to everyone who mentions Sligo to me! It might have been our first stop, but it was by far the best and most memorable one!

This place was a recommended by a family member. We couldn’t be happier. The attention to detail is better than any 5 star we have stayed at. The breakfast has a great selection of fresh homemade foods and if you walk away hungry that’s your own fault because there is so much foods. Mary and Kieron are the most excellent hosts and always have suggestions for places to see, eat and visit. We highly recommend Pearse Logde to anyone visiting Ireland 🍀

We stayed here for two nights. Breakfast is all homemade and incredible. Please order the porridge. This is NOT your mother’s oatmeal. Rooms are a good size, spotlessly clean and easy to walk to town. They had great recommendations for us as well. So glad we stayed there.

Purpose-built B&B with generous-sized, well-furnished room (Hazel). Breakfast, selected from a menu, is healthy, plentiful and delicious. Mary is a gracious host -- on the ready with info on restaurants, Irish music and nearby convenience stores. B&B decor looks like it belongs in a "Martha Stewart Living" magazine. We've never stayed at a B&B that took so much care in everything that it does. Absolutely top-notched. Highly recommend!

Mary and Kieran were so fun to talk to. They gave us excellent tips for local trips, as well as very handy tips about Slieve League in Donegal. The front room and enclosed front porch were great to sit in and read while chilling out to the classical music that was playing . They offer you a large selection of choices for breakfast, and I can highly recommend Mary's homemade muesli that she soaks overnight in orange juice and honey (and I'm a carnivore)! The room and bathroom are both cozy, but have everything you need. There's even a personal french press in the room. The bed and pillows are SO comfortable. Highly recommend!

Planning our visit to Sligo for a friend's party in a local hotel, we decided to make a long weekend of it and spend our 3 night stay somewhere a little quieter. Pearse Lodge (within an easy 10 minute stroll to the city centre) turned out to be the perfect choice. Even in the initial email enquiry, Mary and Kieron were prompt and helpful with their responses. On a arrival , we were warmly welcomed and Mary took time to tell us all we needed to know about nearby attractions and the surrounding area. The (superior) room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped.....and then there were the breakfasts which were up there with the very best (jarred fruits, yoghurt, home baked breads making way for an excellent range of hot plates cooked to order). The ambience of Pearse Lodge is that perfect Irish blend of top notch hospitality and unpretentious, yet classy, accommodation - thank you Mary and Kieron :) Highly recommended!!
