Myself and my boyfriend arrived at Pearse Lodge as part of our Wild Atlantic way trip. We were greeted by Mary who unlike many other accommodations we visited gave us a great deal of time to show us our room, the b&b and any recommendations she had for our visit. The room itself was pristinely clean and luxurious. In the room there was a MENU for breakfast with a range of homemade goods on offer! - Mary can definitely be described as a foodie. Both herself and her husband Kieran were pleasant and laid back on visitors and really make you feel welcome in their home. 10/10. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Sligo as it is a mere 10 minute walk to Sligo town and you will thoroughly enjoy every minute in the B&B.
Thanks again!

We enjoyed every single minute spent at the lodge. The hosts were very nice, kind, helpful and very attentive to details. They couldnt do more for us! The breakfast was delicious, fresh food, very good quality, great variety, delicious home made cakes, everything was just perfect and overcame our expectations. We were very impressed! The room was very clean, very high hygiene standards, much appreciated. We had everything one could wish for in the bedroom, tea&coffee, water, iron & ironing board, little chocolates on the bed, cotton buds, cotton pads & tissues in the bathroom, which creates comfort and reflects great attention to details. We loved our stay!

My wife and I spent two nights in this B&B recently .
We had never stayed in one before and if what we experienced here was anything to go by it is unlikely that we will ever book into a hotel again . Pearse Lodge exceeded all our expectations . We were greeted by the genial couple who run the house and they explained to us all we needed to know about the place . Our on- suite bedroom was spotless and had lovely touches like a teas- made etc . The full Irish breakfast I had the following morning was the most beautifully presented breakfast I have ever seen and my wife’s smoked salmon with scrambled egg was also a joy to behold .
Any further comments I could made would all be positive. Mary and Kieran who run this business and they are simply the best .

My partner and I spent the August bank holiday weekend in Sligo, our first visit to the area.

We had let them know in advance that we were vegan and they made us really welcome, with plenty of options for breakfast. Mary baked us vegan brown bread and cakes which were very good, and we had soya milk available on the breakfast table.

We were in Beech Room, which is a large room with a sitting area and an en-suite bathroom. It was very comfortable and also very quiet at night.

The location is excellent, a short walk from Sligo town centre and with easy access to the main roads in and out of the town. Mary and Kieron gave us plenty of guidance on what to see and do in the area, and are excellent hosts.

This is a place we would definitely stay in again.

We have spent a week touring the North and South of Ireland. We stayed here for 2 nights and on arrival were greeted by Mary and Kieran. We had a beautiful room with the most comfortable bed and can honestly say had 2 wonderful nights sleep. The room also had an iron and ironing board and a hairdryer along with a lovely shower room with lovely fluffy towels. Although during these very strange times, Mary and Kieran had made sure that everything was as it should be, superbly clean and very welcoming with lots of lovely added extras and finishing touches. Breakfast was amazing with all cereals and fruits along with home made yoghurt separately portioned into gorgeous little mason jars and the cooked breakfasts were awesome. Mary and Kieran are wonderful hosts and would highly recommend this wonderful B&B. If we are visiting Sligo in the future we would definitely stay here.

Thanks again, Julie & Andrew.

Kieron & Mary were amazing hosts, so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Everything from the room to the breakfast had such attention to detail, the breakfast being the best I've experienced on a stay (Mary's pancakes are the unreal!). The room was beautifully decorated, such a comfy bed, and everything was spotlessly clean. We stayed here for 3 nights and could have stayed longer! Couldn't recommend enough!

Mary and Kieran were so fun to talk to. They gave us excellent tips for local trips, as well as very handy tips about Slieve League in Donegal. The front room and enclosed front porch were great to sit in and read while chilling out to the classical music that was playing . They offer you a large selection of choices for breakfast, and I can highly recommend Mary's homemade muesli that she soaks overnight in orange juice and honey (and I'm a carnivore)! The room and bathroom are both cozy, but have everything you need. There's even a personal french press in the room. The bed and pillows are SO comfortable. Highly recommend!

Planning our visit to Sligo for a friend's party in a local hotel, we decided to make a long weekend of it and spend our 3 night stay somewhere a little quieter. Pearse Lodge (within an easy 10 minute stroll to the city centre) turned out to be the perfect choice.
Even in the initial email enquiry, Mary and Kieron were prompt and helpful with their responses. On a arrival , we were warmly welcomed and Mary took time to tell us all we needed to know about nearby attractions and the surrounding area. The (superior) room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped.....and then there were the breakfasts which were up there with the very best (jarred fruits, yoghurt, home baked breads making way for an excellent range of hot plates cooked to order).
The ambience of Pearse Lodge is that perfect Irish blend of top notch hospitality and unpretentious, yet classy, accommodation - thank you Mary and Kieron :)
Highly recommended!!

Mary and Keiran have created a welcoming and warm guesthouse with spacious rooms, beautifully appointed common sitting areas and 2 different breakfast rooms. The breakfast was magnificent with single portions of fruit, delicious home made yogurt and cooked to order classic Irish breakfast. They provided information about restaurants and pubs that were helpful. We enjoyed talking about a variety of topics which is always interesting as you gain understanding and perspective to talk with a local person when traveling. Downtown Sligo is beautiful and Pearse Lodge is a gem.

If in Sligo, and in need of a B + B, I cannot recommend Pearse Lodge highly enough! Mary and Kieron are such lovely, warm, welcoming hosts who really care and go beyond what is expected to ensure your stay is comfortable, warm and secure. I enjoyed a lovely one night stay and took in a couple of jogs on a nearby scenic route which Mary kindly informed me about. The room was big, spacious and felt like a mini apartment with lots of lovely, generous finishing touches like sweet treats and home-made rocky road biscuits : ) It is a very central location and shops are within walking distance. Very reasonable rates also for rooms, and great parking. Thank you so much Mary and Kieron for making me feel so welcome.

Hi , Thank you for your question in regards to our B&B. We are a ten to fifteen minute walk to the town centre , there is no bus service operating that would cater for the trip into town , however it is a short journey and would be an inexpensive taxi fare.
