Dear Aoife O, Thank you for taking the time to complete a Trip Advisor review. We think this review might be for another hotel as we are a city centre hotel and a leisure centre is not one of our facilities. Kind Regards, Sligo City Hotel Management

Pros: The rooms are tidy and clean. Cons: Paying a higher price for a full (double) bed, only to realize it's 2 single beds combined. Breakfast was not available because the cook did not show up and there was no replacement. Noise from corridors is heard pretty loud in the rooms.

Dear Mr_Bushmills, We appreciate you providing us with feedback on your stay at the Sligo City Hotel. We were glad to read that you were happy with the standard of the room cleanliness. We use zip and link bed technology in our rooms that allow beds to be used in either a double or twin configuration. This is standard technology in the hotel industry here. We note your comments about the breakfast service issue and some corridor noise during your stay. The vast majority of feedback is positive in relation to the Sligo City Hotel on Trip Advisor. We would like to reassure you that your experience was the exception and not the norm at our hotel. Kind Regards, Sligo City Hotel Management

First of all the room was very small and cold the tv was sat on what seemed to be an old coffee table. When we arrived we asked what time breakfast was we were told that there would be no cooked breakfast instead it would be a continental breakfast this was not mentioned on the website when we asked why we were told it was because there were not many guest .This is a very shabby way to treat paying guest. The dinner menue very basic and the portions small when the coffee and tea arrived it was just about warm.I could go on but enough said. But i must say that the staff are lovely.

What can I say about our stay on Valentine's weekend.. the staff are brilliant and thanks to Adele she was such a pleasent and lovely girl the whole weekend, giving us direction to places we were looking to visit and telling us about the town and places to see etc. We didn't get Whens name of the lady who booked us in but she to was very helpful. When we arrived we were upgraded at no xtra charge which was a lovely treat, the room was fantastic. The night porter was very pleasant and what more can u say about sligo town, best getaway in a long time, we will certainly be back thanks so much maddy mccurdy xxx
