Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stayed in the Sligo Park Hotel with my family and friends in September as part of a family gathering. There were large number of guests in the party and it was challenging to organise. Thankfully, Margaret in Reservations was on hand to help make this entire weekend possible. She was exceptionally professional but also very kind. We organised a meal as part of this which was fantastic and the entire team at the Sligo Park made everyone feel at home from the moment the walked in the door. Thank you all very much. Mark

Hotel's Favourite
We spent two nights in the Sligo Park Hotel. Every one of the staff were so pleasant and friendly. They were always so helpful. We are in the bar on the two evenings and both meals were very tasty, the service was also excellent. The lobby area is just perfect for chilling out with a cup of coffee in the afternoon. We enjoyed our time in the swimming as well which has a baby pool meaning we could take our 5 month old to the pool. There really is such a lovely family atmosphere in the hotel and we look forward to many more family stays together in the Sligo Park.

Our stay was a quick one night visit to the Sligo Park and from the start to finish we had a lovely stay. We had no bad experiences in this hotel. We’d give it a 10 out of 10. We're actually going to try book here again when we get a free break. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was fab, checkout was great at 1pm but we were awake by 8 so after showering we were down to breakfast by 8.45.After breakfast we went for a walk down the town which was a lovely town. Anyone looking to stay in Sligo try book here, it’s comfortable and quiet.

I stayed at the Sligo Park Hotel during a trip to Sligo to attend an event nearby. The hotel is fantastic, my room was beautifully comfortable and the staff were so warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. I hope to return soon for a longer stay!

Noise from the corridor and other rooms carries like the walls & doors just aren’t there, didn’t sleep at all. A normal conversation out in the corridor will wake you up, and TV sound from adjoining rooms may as well be from the TV in your own. If you can’t sleep all other aspects of the hotel are wasted.

As per normal our visit to the Sligo Park Hotel was wonderful. The girl on reception recognised us as we have stayed many times. Hotel spotless. Staff amazing and a credit to the hotel. Special shout out to Shannon ( like the river ) in the bar and on food. A little ray of sunshine and such an asset to your hotel. I hope she gets the credit she deserves. Lovley relaxing weekend. We will be back very soon.

Lovely staff, great spa and leisure centre. Good value overall for the nice room and facilities and excellent breakfast. We in particular stayed here because they’re one of the few hotels around the area where some of the housekeeping staff can also offer babysitting - we were very lucky to have Emilie look after our small boy. Room had a fridge which was handy for keeping milk for baby.

A group of friends and I spent two nights in the Sligo Park Hotel as part of our annual golf trip and we were really impressed. The hotel was clean, very comfortable and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We had a delicious meal in the bar on the Friday night - particular thanks to Andrea and the team who were so attentive and helpful. The breakfast room is beautiful - sunny, spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast options were fantastic. Thanks also to Bernadette for helping retrieve my lost property! Finally, the leisure centre, particularly the sauna and plunge pool, were fantastic.

Lovely comfortable hotel. Spacious bedrooms with nice decor. Bar had a nice atmosphere, but service was a bit slow. Prices standard. Bar food was average. Well presented but a bit short on flavour. Breakfast was disappointing. It had dried out and there was no brown toast offered. Coffee was good - very important!
