On a recent visit to Enniskillen looking for accommodation we stumbled upon this small community based hotel 40 minutes from enniskillan so we booked for a Saturday night.
To say we were pleasantly surprised would be an understatement with a warm friendly welcome at reception to our very clean and accommodating room we were off to a great start.
A quick drink and snack in the well priced bar a walk around the beautiful church right beside the hotel and we settled in for the evening in the bar.We dined on some very fine food and drinks to late in the evening with a large crowd in the bar.As it’s a community based hotel a considerable amount of local business could be seen . Exceptional friendly staff and service
added to a excellent stay
Irish hospitality at its best.

This is one of Ireland’s hidden gems and if you are a steak lover it’s a must. Food is excellent. 12oz Hereford steak done to perfection. Fantastic atmosphere especially during the Ireland V New Zealand. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Great music on a Saturday night. Well worth a visit

A great hotel , totally off the beaten track but well worth a visit, The welcome we received was second to none , great staff and the food was excellent. From the outside it does not appear to be too spectacular , but once inside it was really good . The bar is very friendly and has a good singer on the Saturday night , the meals are very reasonably priced and the Guinness was excellent . plenty of tables in the grounds and there is a covered smoking area . You are only a few miles from the border , and the roads are excellent for motor cycles , plenty of sweepers . There is a huge bog up the road and many walks in the area. Rooms clean and excellent breakfast.

We arranged an event for the BMW Irish Section Motorcycle Club . 24 of us stayed with 18 bikes from Fri to Sun. The accommodation was great, including a large open shed for the bikes to be undercover. The food was excellent with plenty of choice and very reasonably priced. Everyone of the group had only praise for the place, the accommodation, the food and the staff who were warm and helpful. The hotel was very easy to do business with. We wish them well for the future with their community venture and will recommend them to others.

Really glad we were taken to the hotel with a local or we'd never have found it. We were immensley impressed with the spirit of this hotel - run by the community for the community. Ten out of ten guys!
Food was great. Welcome was wonderful. Accommodation was basic but beds were extremely comfortable and lots of hot water!

Sunday carvery here is fantastic, never fails to impress. Meat is always cooked to perfection, plenty of it and good value. Food is always serviced over the weekend from 5 to 7 at night, small choice on mens but always tasty. It's very out of the way but if you find youself in the area, it is worth the trip, they also do a great pint. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The area is known for it's walking trails which are also worth a visit, staff can guide on where to go.

Stayed here recently. The staff are friendly. The food is good. The rooms are adequate. It is right next door to the Church in a very peaceful and tranquil area. There seemed to loads of opportunities to take in walks

A large group of us stayed at this hotel for a family funeral nearby. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, and even assisted other family members who they were unable to accommodate find other accommodation close by.
The hotel is spotlessly clean inside and out, the rooms are spacious and all have their own bathroom. There was a TV, hairdryer and kettle in each room and plenty of storage.
The food was good, a full Irish breakfast, or a vegetarian alternative, choice of cereals and orange juice. Evening meal was exceptionally good. The menu, although not large, catered for all tastes and was good value for money.
The bar was friendly and visited by many locals as well as hotel guests. The bar and restaurant were only open in the evening, which was fine for us.
I would like to thank the hotel staff for looking after us all so well, and will definitely return, hopefully for a happier occasion.

This family/community hotel in Knockatallon County Monaghan by far exceeded our expectations, from the moment we arrived to the checking out time, we were treated so well by very friendly staff.
Our family reunion party booked out the entire hotel and we were really in a home from home environment, the reception, the kitchen, the bar, the entertainment was all first class.
We can highly recommend this very personal facility in mountains of Co Monaghan.
