We stayed here in January 2020 for almost a week visiting friends who lived close by. Angela was an amazing host who clearly has her hands full running a B&B and raising a family. She is a fantastic host and super mum. The B&B was perfect for our needs. Angela absolutely nailed it and was always on hand for questions, recommendations etc. Would definitely recommend this place. Good walking distance into town (steep-ish hill on the way back up) and parking available at the property. Bed was so comfy. No cooked breakfast - just tea/coffee, toast and cereals etc. but a great selection which suited us fine. Would 100% stay again.

Lovely weekend away, will definitely stay again. Very clean, and hostess Angela was so helpful. Beautiful breakfast every morning. Felt so at ease there, would recommend Willow Lodge to anyone without hesitation.

Nothing but good to say about our stay in Willow Lodge, Angela was a delight to deal with and couldn't do enough to help us enjoy our first time in Mayo. Lovely accommodation, clean, comfortable and convenient to all amenities. Will definitely be back!

We stayed here on valentines weekend for two nights. We instantly felt comfortable as soon as we met the host Angela. She was so friendly and really informative about the area. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the pine staircase. The place was spotless. You could smell the clean! We headed into town which was less than a mile away. We visited a few of the pubs and the people were genuinely really friendly. Angela recommended a bar called Cobblers. We found it as it was hard to miss the yellow hotel! Westport- we will back and Angela- expect a return visit! Highly recommended.

Ken was truly amazing. There was no room at the inn and he invited me to sleep in his bed. Was a nice big super king size bed. He assisted me with my shower and made sure I was well looked after throughout the night and my stay. He gave me a lovely breakfast in the morning, a nice big load which was filling. He allowed me to enjoy a bottle of wine in the family area and cooked me a evening meal. He really could not do enough for me. He took me around town to see the bars and walks on the beach with his 2 lovely dogs. Ladies I would highly recommend this place for a night out. Ken is truly amazing and helpful. This is my 8th stay here. Enjoy.

What a fjnd!! This was the perfect stay whilst touring the Wild Atlantic Way. We were met by the lovely Angela who was so friendly and helpful in her recommendations. Our room was spotless with a lovely en suite. Will definitely return and would highly recommend. Thanks Angela

Stayed in Willow lodge last weekend with family, rooms are large, comfortable and spotless, Angela checked us in gave us loads of information about things to see and do locally - only a 10 minute walk into Westport centre. Willow lodge is perfectly located and will definitely stay again!

Stayed in September and found everything amazing. Very comfortable and cozy b&b. Received a warm welcome from our hosts, nothing was too much trouble! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Westport. Will be back next year hopefully!

I booked this place through booking.com without reading the trip adviser. I'm new to bookings as I always have my friends or husband do it for me. I just seen this was at the top of the page so booked. It was a choice between Carrick on Shannon or Westport and on the day we chose Westport. After I booked it I got an email saying there is no breakfast at the property, and let your self in and here's the code for the door. My friend then checked our place we were heading for and read the bad reviews. We were all disappointed there was no breakfast in the morning and the house has dogs which there is no mention of accept in reviews. I have allergies and dogs is one of my triggers. When we saw all the issues we decided to cancel. The booking was only 20 mins old and I emailed Angela back and said we were cancelling due to all these issues. She said if she sells the rooms again she won't charge me. We got booked into a place and got settled in and I checked bookings.com to see if she did resell the rooms and she did as I could see on Bookings both rooms had gone again. Never thought anymore about it. The next day we were out enjoying a meal I had a text from my bank warning me of a fraud issue with my card and if I agreed to a transaction I replied N for no as instructed. I rang my bank and immediately I was told my card is now locked. This woman had not only charged my card one or twice SHE TRIED 7 TIMES!! which triggered a fraud warning on my card. She tried 100 them 80 then 70 then 50 then 30 then 20. After the 2 attempts my card locked. My balance was low as I had just paid for the next B&B and my mortgage came out that Tuesday morning. If she had gone in on the morning my mortgage would not have been paid. This woman was nothing but greedy. She resold the 2 rooms again. She would not have had any fee to pay to bookings as it was cancelled. And tried to take what ever was left in my account. I'm writting this to warn others about booking this place to becareful and read all the facts first and do not give her your card details. I was reading there on another review she went out of sight with someone's card. I can not tell you what the place was like inside but it was bad form to just leave us to let ourselves in. Stayed in Willow Lodge October 2019. Was greeted by Owner/Manager Angela. Very welcoming, professional & her local knowledge is second to none. Stayed in one of the front rooms which was comfortable, spacious and more importantly spotless. Breakfast the next morning was tasty but really loved the coffee. Overall Willow Lodge did not disappoint.
