Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Rosmo house is located close to the harbour and about 20 minutes walk to the town. Rosmo was very cosy, very clean and the breakfast was excellent. Before we set out to climb Croagh Patrick, Mary and Liam offered us climbing sticks which proved essential for a safe climb. If I visit Westport again I will certainly stay in Rosmo House again.

We stopped here two nights, Mary and Liam could not have been more helpful. Lovely location near pubs, restaurants and the harbour. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious, we had the pancakes, so tasty.

Husband and wife owners were very hospitable, and gave a lovely warm welcome. Irish breakfast, good car parking. Room was comfortable, with a decent shower, hairdryer provided. Scenic location with lovely views of the sea. Would recommend visiting the sheebeen pub, for an evening meal which was very close. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

Checked in at a little past 16, immediately discussed breakfast and were brought to the room. Got a clear discription of what was around as far as bars go and such. The room was lovely and the view was absolutely gorgeous. We could see Croagh Patrick Mountain covered in snow from the window. Breakfast was excellent and exactly as we discussed the previous day. Great experience!

My daughter and I stayed here as we traveled thru Ireland. Very clean room, good food and friendly host. The only issue we had was that we could not get the WIFI to work. We had the family room so it was very large and comfy.

Comfortable rooms, great breakfast, cozy and warm. Felt like coming home to Nana's house! Both rooms we rented had three beds in it and I loved that we all fit so comfortably! Great location too! Close enough to town but off a bit that we weren't in the middle of it all!

The accommodations were clean and comfortable and breakfast was very tasty and good portions. However, the hostess appeared busy and therefore was unavailable to attend to our needs. eg. internet not working until the next day, room was freezing and we had difficulty finding someone to address these needs. Upon leaving, we were greeted by Liam who asked if we wish to see Mary. We said, "No", as we thought it was the duty of Mary to be available to greet us as we left. The hostesses in the previous 2 B & B's made themselves available to greet us and ensure all was well with our stay.

Felt the owner was rushed and didn't have any time to answer questions. We tried to get her attention to let her know the television did not work when we arrived. Place was bright and comfortable. Breakfast was good again felt rushed.
