Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Marian and Tommy are absolutely fantastic. They had wonderful recommendations, a lovely home, and fantastic conversation. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. The bed was quite comfortable (we didn’t find ourselves sinking into the middle like you do sometimes) and the room was nicely decorated and inviting. I would absolutely advise you to stay here!

This was one of my favorite B&Bs out of 7 on our stay throughout Ireland. Marian was the nicest host. She introduced us to her family that was visiting and made us feel like one of her own. Breakfast was delicious and our room was clean and comfortable. We would love to return!

Had a top class bed and breakfast stay for a number days ,excellent accomodation ,comfortable and very clean with a very warm welcome on arrival. A first class breakfast each morning with more than enough to eat to sustain you for the day, well looked after by our host and nothing seemed to be to much trouble ,would have no hesitation recommending staying again in future. tony ,rose doyle. A wonderful host and an enjoyable stay.

Started off with a warm friendly welcome... The house was clean, the fire was perfect, and great view of Ireland. I must say that the scones were the best i had on our trip and the chicken dinner was to die for .... We will be back .... Thank you!!!

This is a fabulous home just outside of town. Marian is better than family, she will let you know where to go and what to do to enjoy the best of the area. Her home is like visiting family that you never dreamed of. Can’t wait to visit again.

We stopped by and met the fabulous O'Malley's. They were able to accommodate us and were very kind and generous about it. The rooms were comfy, and super clean. Breakfast was great and Marian was great about recommendations and directions. The grounds are beautiful. It felt very cozy and homey. Would absolutely recommend again! Thanks for the great stay!

We had a wonderful visit to Moher House. Best breakfast of any of the other B&Bs we stayed at in Ireland, a clean and comfortable room, and gracious and welcoming hosts. The only negative is the outside of town location so it may not be the most convenient for those lacking transportation. My friend and I want to return - just so we can visit with Marion and her lovely family again!

We spent three days in Westport staying at Moher House. On previous occasions we hae stayed at hoetls but this time all of the hotels were full so we ended up at Moher House. It just as well that the hotels were fully booked as we receive splendid attantion. Food, accommodation, cleanliness etc all deserve a five star rating. The warmth of Marian and Tom is also worth mentioning as they made us feel at home right from the minute when we arrived. On any future vists to Westport, our first choice will be Moher House.

Upon arriving at Moher House, we were immediately impressed by the beautifully landscaped gardens. We had to wait approximately 20 minutes for our hosts to arrive and let us in, as they were attending a funeral. Marion greeted us warmly, showed us to our room and invited us into the dining area for tea and cake. She was a lovely hostess; very friendly and informative and she prepared a dynamite “Full Irish” breakfast.. Our room was very clean and cozy but dated (1980’s decor) and the en-suite bathroom was fairly tiny but sufficient. Moher House is situated a little outside of Westport, so not within walking distance of the town. In general, it was a very good place to stay.

My husband and I stayed with Marion and Tom as part of a hiking trip. Tom was great about giving us a lift to and from the trail. When we first arrived we were given a treat of homemade scones and tea by the fire. We pre-arranged dinner and had the best meal with fresh items from the garden. Marion is an amazing cook. Every meal was delicious and beautifully presented. This was our favorite B&B from the trip. Marion made us feel like family. We enjoyed chatting with her and getting to know a bit about local life. Our room was immaculate.
