We stayed in the Westport Plaza Hotel for 2 nights in July 2023 while doing a tour of Ireland. I would like to mention Kathy Jennings at the front desk. She was so helpful. She was friendly and went out of her way to help us with a taxi service, a golf club, and places to eat. She is really an asset to your hotel.

Just back from an excellent stay at the Westport Plaza Hotel. If you want a chill break for a few nights, this is the place to be. It is an exceptionally well run hotel. Everyone working here is top notch. They’re fully tuned into ( the customer comes first ).Absolutely nothing is a problem. Reception staff and the management will bend over backwards to insure everything is as you like it. I must mention Hussen in the restaurant.He is equipped with excellent service etiquette at the highest level and must be a super asset to the service team. There’s another outstanding guy Hassan in the bar. You will immediately feel his enthusiasm to look after you. He’s at the top of his game in the bar. Will we return? We didn’t want to go back home 😂. The food ( and it’s presentation ) is top notch and I must recommend including dinner in your stay. Just be aware ! You will be heavier when leaving 😜. The hotel is wheelchair friendly also. The location to the bustling town is excellent too. 5 min walk and you’ll be in the thick of things. Fantastic shopping, restaurants ( never used one because of the quality and quantity of the food at the hotel) and of course, the pubs. A couple of pints in Matt Molloys will be a long lasting memory, especially at evening times. So , that’s it folks ! Hope this review helps.…

We went for the Golden Years experience and I have to say the hotel were so accommodating and friendly and catered for older people We dined in Covey’s every night and Aisling was so nice and helpful and could not do enough to help us We will be back next year with even more people The only thing was that the beds although so comfy where very high for older people Thank you for having us to stay thank you Aisling for all your help

We held our wedding reception in the Plaza and it was absolutely stunning. We were looked after extremely well by John, Maria, Ciara & Ciaran. Everything was done to perfection, the Walnut Suite was beautifully dressed, the food was delicious and the honeymoon suite was lovely. Thank you to everyone who made our day so special!

Room was so good, they kindly upgraded our room. Bartender was so friendly. Swimming pool was perfect, staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were limited but the lunch and dinner menus were much more extensive and food was super tasty. Room service was speedy and all the staff that we interacted with were super friendly.

Fabulous hotel. Comfortable rooms, fantastic service, great location. Couldn’t fault it. I stayed with friends for my 60th birthday in Westport and had a great time. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. The only downside was Coveys restaurant inside the hotel. The food was poor and not up to the standard of the hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights and can say without doubt, it was the best hotel we have stayed in. From the minute i booked to the time we left, everything was perfect. From the very friendly receptionist who checked us in, she was so nice and gave some great info, to the room we had, which was so big and spacious. The bed was so comfy. The food and service we received was absolutely top class and deserves to be recognised. The young girl at breakfast on the last morning, was brilliant, young girl with blonde hair, We sat on table 5 , and she looked after us so well. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely be back again. Please don't change a thing.
