Great holiday week in this lovely hotel. Staff were so nice. Walking distance from the town. I would like if there was a wee kids club or something just to keep kids entertained during the day. Otherwise everything was great.
This was my second time staying in the castlecourt and I really can't fault it. Really nice comfy, clean hotel with a lovely leisure centre too. Great place for a relaxing getaway, especially with the outdoor court to chill out with a coffee or a cocktail. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Great food as well.
We spent three days at this hotel over the august bank holiday weekend, it was a very pleasent and satisfying experience. The food was excellent and a wide variety to choose from, the hotel staff were very pleasent/effecient/helpfull .The hotel is in close proximity to a very busy and vibriant town , also if driving there are simply loads of attractions all close by Westport. Full marks to the Castlecourt Hotel i would highly recommend this hotel for couples or families .
As a former Westport girl I remember the Castlecourt well. Still being run by the same Family (Corcoran’s) and has been transformed into a magnificent place to stay with all the facilities you would expect in a luxury Hotel. All the staff were truly excellent. It’s the perfect place to stay to explore Westport and Mayo.
Westport offered plenty to do and lots of live music. The service and food at the hotel were really good, staff were welcoming and helpful. The leisure centre was a great addition. Free parking was a bonus. Would recommend.
We have stayed here several times and we have never been disappointed. Beautiful hotel, fab outdoor seated area with coffee trailer. Bedrooms spotless , sleep quality perfect, breakfast beautiful and plenty of choice. We cannot fault it, we will be back.
Fabulous Hotel great service, location amazing. Under ground parking. Food was excellent and fabulous breakfast. Everything about this Hotel was amazing so will be returning to see the new outdoor bar that was been installed as we were leaving.
I organised a stay in the Castlecourt for a hen night on the August bank holiday weekend. The hotel staff were so professional and efficient. Audrey in reservations was extremely helpful when contacted in relation to amendments and adjustments to the group booking. They hotel organised finger food for our party on arrival in May’s Bistro which was just what the party wanted on arrival. We had an activity organised in the Westport town so checked in later on in the day and staff were efficient with getting us checked in. The rooms were clean and comfortable, air con was available and the rooms also had fans which were handy given it was a humid day. We availed of dinner in the Orchard restaurant which I would highly recommend eating in even if you weren’t staying in the hotel. There were many options on starters, mains and desserts and the quality was great as sometimes quality can suffer in restaurants when too many options are available. Staff were helpful, efficient and approachable throughout the stay answering any questions our group had. This hotel is a great example of how hotels should do breakfasts. The breakfast was in the Orchard restaurant where we had dined the night before. The breakfast menu has moved with the times and caters for all palates. Even though I am not vegetarian or vegan, it was great to see that there were good options for those who are not meat/dairy eaters. I got the full Irish and the poached eggs were on point. Hot breakfasts were served and brought to the table efficiently and the group liked the fact that breakfasts were offered until 11, always a great option for those who’ve had a few drinks the night before in Westport. A great stay overall and would highly recommend staying here if you were coming for a weekend to Westport. Looking forward to staying here again for a wedding in October. Thanks for making a group booking for 19 people stress free and enjoyable!…
Quality hotel close to town centre. Plenty of parking thankfully on this Irish Bank holiday. Breakfast was great quality and staff were attentive. Felt let down after paying 200 Euro for the room after getting to the room which was very small, lipstick smudge on a chair, no wall windows and just velux windows on the ceiling. Room was so small we struggled to get bags in the door past the bed. Bad cracks in the wall and ceiling and one of the window blinds didn't work. Toilet flush was dodgy and the lift didn't work on our final morning, meaning we had to move heavy bags down 2-3 flights of narrow stairs. Passed complaints to reception. 200 Euro for this room was ridiculous!
The new outdoors bar in the courtyard is a must when you visit! One of the best whiskey sours I've had made by the lovely Assam (I hope I have the name correct) great enthusiasm about his job and creating cocktails. Thank you for the best cocktails we have had in a long time! We will absolutely be back 🙂
