Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited Martin and Marie at doon Angus farm, we had a fantastic time, it was so peaceful with beautiful views and the added bonus of horses, pony’s and foals, the pods are so cosy with everything you need in the barn. We visited with our four children so booked two pods and it was great, only 10 minutes from Westport

Well what can I say about that’s negative, we’ll absolutely nothing at all! We spent 2 nights in Westport Glamping. We weren’t sure what to expect as it was our first time glamping and never even camped before! Marie and Martin are the owners and they are just a lovely couple, so friendly and organised and nothing was too much trouble at all. Pods: There are 2 pods (see pics) and a 3rd old caravan set up. The pods were spotless and so comfortable. I’m 6 ft 6 and even found there was more then enough room! Each pod has a double bed, couch/pull out bed and 2 chairs and a table indoors and same outdoors to enjoy the weather. There is a toilet and basin aswell. We were there during storm Ellen and didn’t feel like it was going to take off, felt really cozy inside. Facilities: - There is an old converted barn which has 2 individual set rooms. - Really well laid out kitchen. 2 kitchen tables for Covid purposes. Fridge, dishwasher, microwave, stove and cutlery, all that you need basically! - and for the rainy days this was the best bit for kids, a large room with couches and bean bags with a flat screen tele and Netflix! And loads of board games for the kids aswell - Hand sanitisers on the walls were excellent to have aswell - There was an outside bbq to use of you liked and it was under shelter Farm: - one of the mornings we went down with our son to feed the ponies and collect the eggs from the chickens and Martin was great with the kids Distance to Westport: - The glamping is roughly 4km from the town and there is a Lidl on the way in and a petrol Station 1km from the farm if you needed anything inc a supermacs Marie and Martin: - Great couple, so friendly and helpful and have everything thought about. The only thing they could bring in is a washing machine if you were staying a week. Even one of the ones they have in the Petrol stations. I don’t think anyone would mind having to pay to clean their clothes. Super few days and we will definitely be back!
