Detailed Reviews
Lurgan House is perfectly situated just a short and very pleasant walk from town along a walking trail. The home is immaculately kept, the beds and rooms are comfortable, and you could not find more lovely or welcoming people than Ina and Gerald. Ina makes a beautiful breakfast every morning, making up individual orders for each guest. Also, her scones are truly the best I have ever tasted !! I will be sure to stay here again in my next visit to Westport !

Ena and Ger are the most delightful hosts that I have ever met. Their home is beautiful and they went above and beyond in making our stay in Ireland a once in a lifetime experience. The Irish breakfast was cooked to order and included a wide selection for any palate.

Fantastic B&B just 5 mins from Westport. Eina was a perfect hostess, rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had an ensuite room and the breakfast was enormous with lots of variety. She was able to give us local advice with tips and places to eat, even down to booking a dinner reservation for us, which was delicious.

Lurgan house is a short walk (less than a mile) from the main city area. Everything is very clean and the hosts are wonderful people. This was our final stop as we hiked The Western Way. Breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed our time in Westport.

We had the best experience staying at Lurgan B&B. The bed was quite possibly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The house is so clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The location was just right. - close to Westport, but quiet being just a bit out of town. The grounds are beautiful. You get to drive through a stone arch on the way out of the property! The hosts were so incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. We had put a hole in our tire and they recommended where we could go to get it fixed, then called ahead to the repair shop to let them know we would be coming, which was so appreciated. Everything was so lovely, we were sad to leave after our 3 nights there. Highly recommend (and hope we can return one day).

One of the best B&B’s I have stayed in, with friendly and warm hospitality; clean, lovely bed linen in spacious bedrooms, all en-suite. A short walk in to Westport via the Greenway (cycle track) or 2 minutes drive. I hope to return!

Arrived a stranger left feeling like family. Ina and her husband go above and beyond. A delicious breakfast each morning. Very attentive to our needs and truly care about their boarders. The towels we washed daily and the rooms were clean and beds comfortable.

We had such a perfect stay. The surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous and serene. You're still just a short walk from town, which was great! Lurgan House was clean, cute, friendly and all around wonderful. Breakfast was absolutely delicious as well! We would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip:Â It can be a bit challenging to get to Lurgan from the train station, I would recommend a taxi.

Lurgan house bnb was The best bnb during our stay in Ireland. The room was big with a great view. The bed was wide and long and The mattress just right.
Situated just 10 minuts walk from The center of Westport and its many authentic pubs with live music, Lurgan House is well quiet. Only The occasional meh from The sheep breaks The beautiful silence. I love this place.
We were greeted with coffee, tee and a raisin Loaf, even though we arrived late. The room was The biggest bnb room I have experienced, and The bed, large enough for me (6'8") which is rare.
At breakfast we were served full Irish breakfast with fresh baked scones.
5 stars is not enough for this bnb. I will definitely revisit and spread The word.
