Lurgan House is a beautiful property a 10 minute walk from the center of Westport. We stayed there a week. Ena, the proprietor, is super helpful and friendly, and a great cook too. There's a fire in the lounge area and hot breakfast, including scones and breads that Ena bakes herself. She made our stay in Westport the great experience... More

Situated about ten minutes walk from town where there is a plenty of restaurants and pubs this B&B has a lovely charm to it. Tastefully decorated, with free onsite parking and a excellent hot fresh breakfast there is not much, not to like. May be bring a torch if your walking back late at night, as the lane to it... More

Lurgan House had all the benefits of a being on a quiet country road with just a 10 minutes walk to the wonderful town of Westport. The room was quiet and clean; the breakfast and amenities were generous; and Ina was the most gracious hostess. She made our stay feel like being with family, and we will most definitely return.... The Lurgan House is a nice Irish B&B. It was clean and inviting. My wife and I ended up with twin beds, but that's no problem for one night. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. The B&B is about 2 km (about 1.5 miles) from the Mayo city center. Parking is difficult in the city center so you might... More

This B&B was recommended by a relative and we were not let down. We stayed in a triple room with three single beds. It was lovely a clean and everything you would expect from a B&B. The view from our room was picturesque looking out over Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay despite being only a 10 minute walk into the... More

Ena & Gerod were warm, friendly & helpful. There is a gorgeous tunnel-like section on the greenway if you choose to walk the short distance into the town. You definitely should, as the town is beautifully maintained with many nice restaurants. Lurgan House is clean & comfortable, the yard beautiful. If you choose twinbed rooms, there is a spacious bath... More

Ena, our hostess, is definitely in the right business. She is open-hearted, funny, attentive to details, helpful and genuinely interested in her guests. Add in a very comfortable homey place at a fair price, and you get the best accommodations we found on our trip.

The view out our window was spectacular, and the BED was the most comfortable of any the hotels and B&Bs we stayed at over 28 nights! The location was lovely and tranquil--walking down the road I took over 100 pictures, including wild shamrock growing in the walls, lambs "cavorting", weird trees. If you don't have a car it is an... A group of us booked Lurgan's self-catering apartment for a weekend. Excellent facilities and hospitality. Located near Westport, but set in scenic countryside and a stone's throw from Croagh Patrick. I highly recommend. P

Stayed here for a night on Easter week end. The room was large, clean, comfortable and well equiped. The en-suite also was fine. The location is lovely - very peaceful and a 15min walk to town. Breakfast was everything a good Irish B&B should be. Choice of any "Irish Breakfast" classics as well as breads, toast, cerials, juice etc etc.... More
