Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The hosts of this B@B are excellent and friendly and very contactable. It is clean has ample parking and is very handy to wait in for an event near knockranny house hotel. Nice breakfast and good value for money. Reasonably priced in comparison to other places in Westport.

We used Westport Heights as our home base for six days while we traveled around the West of Ireland sightseeing. Marta was an incredible host making sure we were prepared for every day. Her knowledge of the city was extensive and her connections with local restaurants and businesses were invaluable. She even went above and beyond to make sure we were able to get our laundry cleaned before leaving town for the next leg of our journey. As for the house, it was comfortable, well maintained, and luxurious. The room came with all the amenities we would have expected including a tea/ coffee station, nice linens, and a nice TV (on which we caught the Eurovision). The only thing we ran into trouble with was hot water and once we thought to mention it to Marta, she engaged a backup heater and it was solved. All you have to do is ask and she'll make sure you are taken care of. We will be coming back next time we travel to Ireland.

Room Tip: The shower is a little small in the ensuite. The shared bathroom has a much more sizable shower.

We loved our 3 night stay at Westport Heights guest house. the location is perfect, a short walk on the bike path to town, so out of the craziness, but not too far. Quiet with incredible views of Croagh Patrick and the valley below. Marta is a wonderful host, flexible and has so many ideas about what to do in the area and where to eat etc. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The rooms are lovely. Two of us had ensuite rooms, and one had shared bath which was super clean and never a problem. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Westport.

Stayed two nights. Beautiful views from the house. Host friendly and parking and payment straight forward. Shared bathroom posed no issues. Head space in the room a little tight. Amenities provided for and linens comfortable. Breakfast laid out well and generous provisions with cereal, yogurt, fruit, toasts, cheeses, hams etc. Would return.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Location is very close to Westport and with the greenway 10 min walk takes you into town. With no breakfast served (due to COVID) it meant making our way into town to eat. Room was small so slightly disappointed when we seen other rooms in the house. Missed having a bedside cabinet but loads of other furniture in room. Martha was very welcoming and helpful and bed was extremely comfortable. Thank you.

We visit Westport 3-4 times a year and were very lucky to find this beautiful place. Another amazing visit at Westport Heights, Martha is the perfect hostess and made us feel very comfortable, accomodation is spotlessly clean and the breakfast is really really nice. Tea and Coffee available all day. Thank you, we will be back!!

We stayed overnight during a road trip through Ireland. The BnB is the cutest and Martha was the best host, giving lots of recommendations. The room we had was gorgeous with a fabulous view. Breakfast was continental but that was enough for us. Location is perfect to walk into town. Wish we had more time there.

We stayed for a night at Westport Heights in November 2019 - our host Marta and her husband were absolutely delightful throughout, we were greeted with a thorough rundown of what was available with our stay, the facilities and even the best local spots to check out! We stayed in the apartment, the beds were comfy, and the flat was very clean and warm - the continental breakfast the next morning was also fab. Above everything else - the view from the front on a sunny day is STUNNING. Worth staying there for that alone ;) thank you again, we'll definitely be rebooking - Westport is AWESOME!!!

We had an outstanding experience. The B&B is easy to find and well signposted, with plenty of free parking. Our room was comfortable, clean, modern and spacious, with an excellent view to the sea. Breakfast was a buffet, we opted for porridge. It's an easy walk into town, where we used the swimming pool at a town-centre hotel, which was complimentary thanks to Westport Heights. Our host, Martha, couldn't have been more helpful. I would definitely stay here again, and I'm happy to recommend it to others.
