Very enjoyable stay at a very reasonable price which included a delicious full irish breakfast Close to town centre. Very friendly staff. Comfortable rooms with tea/coffee/tv. Idea for visiting this beautiful town. Highly recommend a stay.
This guest house is so convenient..The rooms are clean.. a bit dated including the furniture..bed not great..linen was spotless. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was full irish and nicely cooked.overall it was very good value for money..we will be back
No complaints at all about our stay here. All facilities were very clean and rooms were spacious. A tiny bit dated but no different to the majority of other bnbs I’ve stayed in in Ireland. Accommodation is in a great location, and has plenty of parking outside for free (just get a pass from reception). I found this to be great value for a last minute Saturday night booking compared to other prices in central Westport.
When we arrived, there was no warm greetings. An old lady from one of tour group had difficulties in walking and nobody from the staff even offered to help her carry her luggage up to the first floor. We had 2 huge backpacks on our back and we had to carry her bag up for her which is in my opnion bad service from the staff. On top of that the hairdryer was in smoke when turned on for the 1st time which was very dangerous so I had to ask for another one and after 15mins nobody was bringing it so i had to go down to remind since the hotels rules was not to make noise and i wanted to wash my hair before 11pm. The walls were very thin as we could hear the other person on the other room using the lavatory. The bed was extremely too small for 2 person and very uncomfortable, the pillow was not better either. I think the floor was not properly clean as well since I've noticed a splinter on my toe. The breakfast wasn't too good either..quite dry, bacon was extra salty and had no spreads of fruits and joghurt. Had to ask for it. The price of the room is more expensive than the other ones we've stayed which has a better service and breakfast. …
Had a very pleasant stay is this B&B . It wasn't my fist visit have stayed here several times have never been disappointed . Breakfast was very good everything was cooked fresh . Location is perfect right in the centre of town .
Just finished staying at Clooneen House in Westport, one word excellent. Please stop and book to.enjoy everything Wesport has to offer Great breakfast, exceptional cleanliness Parking provided and a easy walk to town
Nice and clean, large room and good breakfast. Very nice dining room, staff very helpful. We arrived on motorbikes so was great to be able to park out the back and gates shut at night. Easy stroll into the town and visit Matt Malloy’s.
This guest house is very welcoming and well situated for the town of Westport. Des made us very welcome and helped with our suitcases which was very handy as we were on the second floor and there isn't a lift. The beds were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good and served quickly. Unfortunately we had to play 'hunt the socket' in order to plug anything in in the room - includind the kettle! Also, the bathroom fittings were very poorly fitted; only one fixing on the shower door handle, a shelf which hung at an odd angle and when I took a tissue from the holder on the wall the whole thing came away in my hand. None of this spoilt our stay as we found it rather amusing but I can imagine others might not. Would we stay here again? Probably.
This is such a lovely B&B in the heart of Westport town. A stones throw away from the river carrowbeg and the picturesque bridges. 15mins walk Westport house, a further to the quay and a 2 min stumble from the pubs of Westport. Hot powerful shower. A comfy bed to rest your feet after a long day of exploring. Nothing was too much trouble at breakfast and the staff were friendly. First trip and won’t be our last 10/10.
This is an excellent place to stay. The staff are very accommodating and the food is fabulous. I have a dietary restrictions issue and it was no problem. I was asked what I would like for breakfast and it was all there for me. I’ll definitely be back
