Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This guest house provided everything we needed The owners were pleasant and helpful giving us ideas for our stay
We had two rooms one single and one with double and single beds Both were spotlessly clean, beds very comfortable, tea and coffee facilities, toiletries, hairdryer and even ginger biscuits. Breakfasts were very good with excellent choices, nicely cooked and plenty of it.
Situation could not be better as its right in the centre of town. Ample parking behind the guesthouse. We were right beside, within a couple of minutes walk of the shops, pubs and all the eating places. Castlebar has some lovely coffee shops all within easy walk of the guesthouse.

I spent a weekend in Kenny's Guesthouse recently. I found it had great accommodation, beautiful well kept rooms and a great breakfast. It's in a great location in Castlebar town and has secure car parking.

I stayed in this fabulous B & B last night.
It's ideally located in the centre of castlebar.
The rooms were spotless and nicely decorated.
I had a delicious breakfast and the owner was a very friendly lady, I'll definitely be back.

Easily the best B'n'B I stayed in during a recent tour. Tastefully decorated, very central location, fruit and yogurt available for breakfast alongside the ubiquitous fry. I would definitely stay here again.

Arrived late and had an overnight stay for work. This was easy to find and I was offered tea on arrival. Neat and clean room, tasteful decor. Just off Main Street, everything on the doorstep. The breakfast is amazing, freshly made local produce, plenty of food and a fresh pot of coffee. Hosts are warm and welcoming, I will definitely stay again, regardless of the fact it is a bargain as well!

While this guesthouse is in an excellent location it is like a rabbit warren inside. Our room overlooked the street there was significant road noise. We had to go though the owners private living room to get to our bedroom, feeling very uncomfortable when we came and went. The room was large but shabby and the beds not particularly comfortable. Breakfast was very generous. We weren't sure if we met the owned was no one introduced themselves. This property was the most expensive of the five properties we stayed in in this trip. Not good value for money

Myself my husband and son stayed at Kenny's guesthouse for a 3 day weekend in May, we were in Castelbar to celebrate my mothers 80th birthday. We really enjoyed our stay in this spotlessly clean very comfortable guesthouse, with very friendly helpful hosts.

The breakfast is delicious and the homemade brown bread and Jam just lovely.

Very good location,

We would defiantly recommend Kenny's to anyone, and hope to return soon.
