We booked this hotel for a weekend away. The location was central to Drogheda town and, as we had a hire car for our stay, the guest car park was a large part of choosing to stay here. The hotel's public rooms are beautiful, with a good size bar / lounge area and separate restaurant, but what really makes this...

Rooms disappointing - bedroom very small with a 12 inch TV while the bathroom was equally tiny. Good restaurant. Better to eat there and find alternate accomodation particularly as relatively expensive for the quality.

Very lovely building but in my opinion not the best place to stay. Maybe the other rooms were better, or maybe my expectative was too high, I was expecting a big room with the big bed and bla bla bla, but we got just a regular one. When we arrive the parking lot was full they said it was because...

We booked this hotel for my son's Confirmation day outing and it turned out to be a great choice. The hotel is old world, classy, stylish and with a relaxing ambiance. The dining area was lovely - a table for 8 of us by the window with excellent service. The food was delicious with interesting and varied menu choices. My...

I was staying at Scholars as part of a small party touring the area. The room, although small, had all the required amenities, and was very comfortable. Breakfast was served between 7 and 10.30 am, an unusually long period of availability which was most welcome. Breakfast itself was extensive, tasty and plentiful. As a sufferer from Coeliac Disease it was...

Very cute and classy small hotel. Beautiful bar with an amazing staff. We had two family members birthdays to celebrate and this hotel left us with an excellent experience. After dinner we smoked cigars outside then ventured to the bar. Bartenders are amazing here. If you can think of it, they can make it. My only complaint I had was...

Can't recommend this place enough. Gorgeous little hotel in Drogheda, it looks fantastic from the outside and the inside doesn't disappoint either. We had a few drinks in the wood panelled bar before heading into the restaurant. It was my mams birthday and the staff couldn't have been better. The attention to detail was superb and the food was excellent....

We stayed in a family room - 4 adults - and the rooms were a little small but the bathroom was nice. It was good value though so no complaints. Lovely gardens, bar and dining room. Breakfast was included and was very nice. Free parking and a good location close to the middle of town. Staff were very pleasant and...

I can highly recommend the set menu. Great value and quality food. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. I was part of a large group and everyone enjoyed the evening. Very popular and busy. I would recommend making a reservation.

Absolutely gorgeous flowers and decor. Good food. A bit costly. We had the NY Burger and fish and chips. Burger was huge and good. Fish was nice white cod but I've had better from the fish n chips in Dundee. The furniture alone is worth a visit. Take a photo of someone sitting in one of the Royal Chairs.
