Detailed Reviews
Great town centre location and close to many places of historic interest. In walking distance to many attractions and short drive to Newgrange, Monasterboice and Mellifont Abbey. Close to bus and train station and a really nice shopping centre just down the street. Give it a try- we had a great stay.

troviamo questo indirizzo sul depliant degli ostelli indipendenti irlandesi. arriviamo molto tardie troviamo tutto chiuso, ma dopo diverse telefonate (avevamo prenotato ore prima) arriva il proprietario, molto gentile e disponibile, che ci fa anche uno sconto sul prezzo inizialmente richiesto.
ci da la chiave della stanza e ci dice che la mattina avremmo potuto rimanere anche fino a mezzogiorno e utilizzare la cucina. tutto ottimo, quindi, sembrava.
la camera sarebbe dovuta essere enorme, ma è divisa in due (lo si capisce perchè il rosone sul soffitto è diviso dal muro..), malmessa, con le pareti tutte crepate e con la carta che si stacca. il pavimento è "storto", tutto buche e bozzi sotto la moquette, le finestre e le tende luride, il bagno appena accettabile.
le lenzuola e gli asciugamani "sembrano" puliti, ma il letto è scomodissimo.
ci diciamo "almeno domani possiamo dormire un po' di più!", ma la mattina arriva la signora delle pulizie che ci fa andare via, nonostante le nostre proteste!
inserisco le foto della "cucina", anche se non merita questo appellativo: veramente un posto da brividi, lurido, tutto rotto, impossibile anche solo rimanere un minuto all'interno. (trovatescritte alle pareti del tipo "ci sono ragni nei bicchieri", e così via..). da non crederci. 40 euro in due, buona posizione, possibilità di parcheggiare dietro il palazzetto, ma tutto molto fatiscente e poco pulito.
