We are Drogheda's premiere Bed and Breakfast facility, fully certified by Bord Fáilte and the only B&B facility in the area listed in both the prestigious Michelin and Routard's travel guides. Our lovely home is located on the North Road in Drogheda, just off the M1 Motorway at the "Drogheda North" exit #10 and only 30 minutes north of Dublin airport. Proprietor Olive Murphy takes special pride in ensuring that every guest is welcomed and made to feel very much at home. Olive was very warm and welcoming upon my arrival to her home. The downstairs bedroom that I stayed in had an en-suite bathroom and it was both clean and cosy. The double bed had a very comfy mattress which ensured a great nights sleep. There was plenty of tea & coffee available in the room as well as some biscuits. Breakfast the next morning couldn’t have been better and the food was all freshly prepared. I certainly look forward to staying here again.

stayed last night in room 5 and it was great. booked 2 days in advance over the phone and it was no problem for them. the room was spacious and lots of TV channels to choose from. breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety for cereals. the house was very homey and tidy. BnB was also very accessible and close enough to the town centre. Thank you Olive for having us :)

We were late on the road recently and found ourselves with no accommodation, by the grace of God we were directed to Olive Murphy who took us in and what a great host. Olivemadeus feel very welcome and comfortable, nothing was too much hassle, even thou we got her up out of bed. Her breakfast was a delight too, my daughter was unwell and they helped me make her comfortable. I will definitely return, to visit Olive and her amazing staff. A great nights sleep awaits you and a home from home experience.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed in Windsor Lodge, Drogheda for one night after a family wedding in nearby Slane. This is a gem of a B&B. Very reasonably priced, spotlessly clean and the comfiest bed I have ever slept in! The bed itself was beautifully made up. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious and we were only a short walk into Drogheda town for our lunch. The best part of our stay was undoubtedly Olive, our host. She was so kind and helpful and when we got stranded waiting on a bus to Slane, she dropped us there herself! Above and beyond the call of duty! We would both highly recommend Windsor Lodge to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay in Drogheda.

Comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, warm welcome. Plenty of parking. Definitely recommend. We were two couples arriving that day from the United States, and we were happy to have comfortable beds and friendly atmosphere. We really enjoyed full Irish breakfast to order.

I have being using Windsor lodge for the past year and would highly recommend to anyone coming to Drougheda for a few nights stay .
The accommodation is in a great location for easy access to vibrant town Center and is also very clean and comfortable. Olive is the host and along with her lovely staff they really do make this a home away from home .

I stayed a couple of nights in Windsor lodge and would recommend it highly. Lots of space with free parking which felt safe and secure. A lovely spacious room with everything that was needed and a comfortable bed. A very attentive and friendly host which made you feel very welcome and at home during your stay. Had a lovely breakfast each morning in the breakfast room with plenty of options to choose from.

Staying at Windsor Lodge is like being at a home away from home! Olive and John go above and beyond to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. I stayed here for four nights and could not have had a more pleasant stay. I originally booking in to a different b&b in the town that was filthy and rang Olive to book in at the last moment. She could not have been more accommodating. The room was immaculate and extremely comfortable. If you’re looking for a homey b&b for your stay in Drogheda stay here!!

We were invading the people's space who - for whatever reason lived there. It was a home for families. The owners told them to stay in their rooms. When I posted this I was nervous but felt like I should say something. I just wanted to be with my niece, in the B&B.
In hindsight I should have sat in the kitchen with the families living there with my niece & had a chat & let the kids play. But you don't know that at the time. It would have been a much nicer experience

Yes. Drogheda Bus Station is a short walk (or shorter taxi ride) into the center of town and has direct bus service to Newgrange.
This question was posted after the guest stayed with us, and is part of her attempt at continuing harassment of this property. She put on a terrible display of ignorance and prejudice when she discovered a black family in the house. See our reply to her disgusting review on this website.
